Imperial - 367FH Tool 368FH Triple Head 90 Degree Tube Bender

I was replacing a brake line and needed this tool to bend the steel tubes. Worked perfectly.

I purchased this tool having used a friends so I know it would perform the way I wanted and it does. For this style of tubing bender it works nicely and it bends small tubing - which I wanted. The strange part was that the vendor (an amazon store: Colonial Hardware) sent me one that has to be 15 or 20 years old in half a box. It had the instructions and all and was a bit dusty with no lid on the box. The item was made by Imperial Eastman Corp. in Chicago, Illinois. Imperial is part of Stride Tools now. It would be nice of the vendor to say something as I could have purchased a "new" one for the same price at mcmaster.

This actually shocked me when I opened it. I ordered totally by description and I needed a 3/16 and 5/16 tubing bender. It says it's a triple head bender. That part is correct but those sizes are 1/8, 3/16 and 1/4. Says so right on the handle. Where they get 5/16 and 3/8 is beyond me. I don't think the handles are long enough to bend 3/8 tubing. Overall length is about 5-1/2 inches. I will be returning this item. It is grossly misrepresented and extremely overpriced for it's size.
