Cheap thin plastic that will not even hold up to one time use
This is junk. Don't buy it. I used it one time and it did not last. I bought it had it sitting in the box for some time now. Opened used it and 2 days later on the engine stand broken. Just junk.

Absolute garbage, stay away from this one
This oil pan fits perfectly under a Harbor Freight Pittsburgh 1/2 ton engine stand. Kind of hard to find a good T-shape style mated pan and this seems to be the exact fit. Upon receiving the item, first thing I noticed is at how thin the pan is designed. Then I also noticed that the material of this pan is somewhat of a brittle thermoset plastic with very little ductility. Not sure what this are, but it's not one of those touch ABS or poly-carbonate like material. More acrylic is what I've perceived. Anyway, I quickly put it to use by placing it on top of the "T-bone" of the engine stand and have this pan catch whatever festivity I have with the BMW N55 motor up top. With 24 hours after I let the oil drip onto this pan along with some carb-cleaner spraying and also drip into this pan, I soon find myself returning to the garage with grease all over below the drip pan. Turns out that this drip pan cracked into several pieces and basically fell onto the garage floor, spreading oil into a big puddle. What a big mess, very disappointed with this junk tray. Though initially I was resting assured that the pan fits perfect and just about catching every extent of the oil fall from the engine, at the end of the day, it couldn't hold itself together and decided to shatter into pieces. This is the worst choice you'll make if you're looking at getting this one. LOOK ELSEWHERE! Any other drip tray has to be better. After writing this review, I've already order a drip tray from another maker. You see, the drip tray is a must, but you just can't deform your moral compass and use such garbage. Go for another one. Don't waste your hard-earned money!

Fit my Harbor Freight stand perfectly
Slid right onto my Harbor Freight stand and is able to catch any drippings from the motor (BMW M50B25TU). It's a bit brittle, but I do not expect to be throwing this pan all over the garage. For a shade-tree mechanic/home use, this is perfect.

Broke in five minutes. Very small. Negative reviews are correct.
First, to get it out of the way: Yes, they do give you the dimensions of the drip pan in the description. I highly suggest measuring it out, or making a mock up of it, if you're concerned that it will not be large enough. Second, yes, because of the angle and the distance between the drip pan and the engine, it looks even smaller in my photos. I tried to figure out how to get around the forced perspective, but didn't know how. That said, when I turn the engine to where the pistons are straight vertical in regards to the ground, the oil lands on the edge of the pan. Some goes in the pan, some does not. Which is why you see a tote top underneath it, to make up for the lack of width. If you do not rotate your engine quickly enough, or try to catch all the spills as you turn it, you can VERY easily make a huge mess. I drained everything I could, even used a siphon pump to pull coolant out of the channels...still wound up with quite a bit of fluid on the floor. My engine is a Pontiac 389, by the way. Drained the pan, put it back on the stand...and it immediately split down the middle, which I show in one photo. Looks like a number of other customers had it split in the same spot. Also, if you put this on a Harbor Freight stand, like one review shows, it looks much larger than it actually is. Put it on a decent stand, and you quickly notice how small this pan is. In my last photo, assuming Amazon sorts them properly....is a comparison of this pan versus the other pan which you probably have already looked at. It's much larger in each dimension, including material thickness. And at the time of writing this, only $8 more. I'm not mentioning it by name, because it doesn't matter to me whether you buy their product, they're not paying me. But if you saw that one, and wonders how it compares, here's a side by side for you. If it also doesn't hold up, or has issues, I'll update this review as well.

Great idea, poor execution
product idea is fantastic ! it fit both my engine stands really well,. seems to have good cross compatibility between different stands. it holds a good volume of fluids as well. honestly i have nothing bad to say about this except that it is quite a high price tag for a plastic pan, and the plastic is not an ideal plastic for a drip pan that can be exposed to petrol based fluids; i used this for an ls engine and after removing oil pan, and water pump, it was holding a fair amount of fluid. drained the pan before going in for the night and the next day it has already developed cracks along the center that rests on the stand and supports the pan. it has not broken, even after more oil and coolant have been on it weighing it down, but those cracks will spread over time, and i dont expect it to take much time since they formed overnight. it is a very thin and somewhat flimsy pan, not paper thin by all means, but it have much more flex than i was expecting from this product. i am not going to return it either, i do really like it, and intend to attempt at repairing it with some epoxy or layering some milk jug plastic over it, not sure yet. great idea though. small changes would make this a product more equal to its sale price, at least in my opinion.

Failed after 1st cleaning
Fit great. Worked great. Got really grungy with oil and coolant drippings from 1st use. Used engine degreaser to clean it up, put back on engine stand, and after a cold night, the next morning it was broken in half down the middle. Attacked by degreaser? Cold temp? Don’t know but this needs to be made from more robust material if it’s gonna survive a shop environment. My first impression was the plastic was hard and appeared brittle with little flex. Was happy with fit and function but that was a lot of money spent for one use. Will not recommend or repurchase. Looking for alternative product made from better material.

Received this tray in August and out it away under my house in storage till I needed to use it. Pulled it out in December to use to strip a motor and the tray cracked down the length of the tray on bot sides. Really disappointed. For an expensive product I expect far better than this.

First one was good while doing engine work on my engine stand after that I was cleaning it and just the little bit of pressure it cracked but it came with this number on Amazon and they called me on a Sunday 5 minutes later they had a new one coming it took 5 days but I’m not mad because they sent a new one for free I like that you don’t see that kind of deal or free one and they said if it happens again they’ll send me 2 next time I don’t have amy engine stand work so wing anytime soon but I like that deal they made with me. Just a warning it may take 10 business days for the order to come but I wasn’t in a rush

Despues de realizar un trabajo en un motor, se fracturo en varias zonas, pieza de muy mala calidad, muy alto el costo para la calidad del producto.

It's cheaply made and too small. Most Chinese food containers are tougher! To use it for a complete engine tear down its completely useless. It would be adequate for a drain plug dripping on a V8. I wasted my money and missed the return window don't make the same mistake. They are making a killing on this POS as they probably make it for a buck.
