MUST READ; Intermediate calisthenics
My stats:About 5'9 165lbs and I have long arms. I bought these bars specifically so I could train the front lever at home. Keep reading...Hopefull this review answers any and all questions you may have. I spent quite some time searching for a review similar to the one I'm about to leave, but to no avail. Alright, so the Lebert Fitness EQualizer Bars... Where do I begin. Over priced? I would say without a doubt, yes. However, they are the tallest dip bars I could find to fit my needs. I ordered the black XL. Took me about 5mins to assemble the bars. Very straight forward in that regard. Some reviews mentioned they aren't so stable. I can see why they say that and I suppose I would agree, but if YOU are stable then so are the bars. If you were to add sand to the inside of the bottom of the bars that would alleviate that I'm sure. Some reviews say they wobble and don't even sit flat on the ground. I too will agree because one of my bars is kind of like this, but I use them on carpet so I don't necessarily feel it or see it like others might. The DVD that is included, stated to be a $50 value is useless and definitely not worth $50. It might be useful if you have absolutely no clue about fitness and you don't know what youtube is, but otherwise its just a bs DVD tossed in there to try and justify the price point of the product.More about the product. As stated, I'm about 5'9 and I have long arms. I can do dips just fine and my knees don't touch the ground, which seems to be an issue for people taller or those who don't buy the XL. I'd say if you're 6ft or over then you would need to put blocks of wood or something underneath the bars to give yourself enough clearance for dips. I can do plenty of "above the bar" movements without it feeling unstable because like I said, If YOU are stable then so are the bars. However, I probably wouldn't recommend trying a handstand or at least, I won't be trying to handstand with them. As I've said before, I bought these for front lever training and these would be great for front lever training IF you are shorter than 5'9 or don't have long arms. These bars aren't as wide as I'd like them to be so I'm stuck training with a slightly more narrow grip than I'd prefer. And with arms fully extended and locked out, while holding a tuck front lever, my back is BARELY off of the ground. I can see someone shorter getting waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy more out of these without having to modify anything, but for myself and those like me, you will have to prop the bars up on some wood to get decent clearance while training the front lever. Overall I'm satisfied, but had I known how narrow the grip would be for what I need then I might not have purchased them. But thats my fault for not reading. In summary, these bars are good for pretty much any and all novice level - intermediate calisthenics movements. And there is nothing that really separates them from their competion aside from the name and having Frank Medrano make a video with them.

Too Small for 5’11”
The standard size is too small for this 5’11” man. Dips and chest rows, not to mention gymnastic movements, are not possible on these little bars. Save yourself the trouble of unboxing, assembling, discovery, then re-boxing, returning, and waiting for the refund. If you are a long-limbed 5’11” or taller, do NOT get this product. I recommend the Ultimate Body Press set —I’ve enjoyed it for decades. Or, if you want separate parallel bars, get the XL size of the EQualizer.

Stable / light weight / well made 👈👍
Super easy to put together less than 5 min . I had the other equalizer bar even with connector was not stable and the grab isn’t good . Lebert one is super stable / great hand grab texture. I can’t wait so did not watch dvd 😭 of how to , just did some movements on it . Love it ! Don’t waste $ to buy other co !

Not what I expected
Foam grips might as well not even be there. They’re so thin you have to put something over it to use. Bars not sturdy at all, they move and tip. I’m 5’4 and 110 lbs, so I didn’t expect the bars to tip like they do.I would have returned if it wasn’t such a pain to do so. Not what I expected, disappointed.

Knees hit on dips
Lots of good reviews already, I’ll keep mine short and to the point. These are expensive compared to other like brands. They are very sturdy though. Assembly could not be easier, unless they came pre-assembled. I’m 73” tall, I bought the XL in hopes of doing dips. I know exactly when I’ve reached 90 degrees, simply because that’s the exact moment my knees touch the ground! I would like to be able to dip lower than 90 though, so that really stinks! I guess I could raise the bars on some cinderblocks or a 4x4, maybe even a 6x6. So to keep it short, my fellow tall people should take note. I don’t regret the purchase.

Heavy duty and stable!
Excellent product! It's very heavy duty and stable. Only downside is that I wish they were taller and wider. I'm 6ft and the bars reach mid-thigh height so I have to drop down quite a bit to do dips but it's not a big deal. They're still a great addition to my home gym.

Great product, probably the best of the "type".
I read that someone felt these were expensive...I would have to disagree. For only $100 delivered you get quality and when it comes to equipment you have to trust paying a few dollars more than "cheap" equipment is worth every penny. Yes they may cost more than a competitor but for sturdy, well built, easy to assemble and FAST shipping I'm ok with the price.

Awesome for my home gym.
I really like these and once you figure out your balance and work out any squaring issues, they’ll work well for you.If I was to offer any design suggestions the “basic” model would be 32” high and the XL 36”. These are 28” and a bit short if you are 5’ 10” or taller. One other issue is quality control. I had to true mine for square and it wasn’t a quick tweak. For the cost, I’d say if they were 25% cheaper, I wouldn’t mention this at all. That said, these are sturdy enough once you figure them out and you can crank out a lot of cool movements with them.

Initial impressions are that it's solid, relatively stable and good quality.
I've not used it properly yet as I'm still putting together a new training plan but my first impression is that they are sturdier and less wobbly than I thought they might be. It's well-made, seems solid, finish is nice and the grips seem good quality - bare-hand grip is solid. The height is fine for most things but I would definitely get the XL and not the standard version. Fit 4 small bolts and it's constructed, so very easy with the supplied Allen key. Another growing brand produce one of these that is taller but Lebert is more established and is widely used so I opted for the XL. I don't usually review items so quickly but I do update my reviews over time so I'll give it a few months or so and update. As for the 2 DVDs that comes with it.. oh dear! The first one is the 9 minute long "Instructional DVD" that's emblazoned on the box and website , the first 2 mins of which is a show-reel advert for their product. Then you get a few exercise tutorials lasting 7 mins in total: Single bar pull ups, single bar push-ups, triceps extension, hip extension, 2 bar push-up, 2 bar pull-up, dips, cardio drills, stretching. They don't have time to cover very much or go into any detail. The second DVD is the "LeHIP Training" DVD. They really shouldn't have bothered. They couldn't even label the DVD so it is entitled "Untitled Project" when you enter it into your DVD drive or player. It's split into 3 short sections: "Strength & Power" (15 mins), "Tabata" (4 mins 50 secs) and "Cool Down" (4 mins 30 secs) . At the beginning of the very first video on section 1, the women giving a instruction to a group of women begins by looking at the camera and says "Welcome back!". It's like they forgot to add some earlier tutorials to the DVD. In fact, it's strange there's a "Cool down" section to the DVD but no crucial "Warm-up" section at all - there is no mention of a warm up. It's all down-hill from there. The woman does a few exercises with the group but and shows a few exercise you can do with it but without telling you anything about how to do any exercise, technique etc. You've just entered an exercise class half way through and are simply watching them. Sections 2 and 3 have nothing to do with this product at all. They are a waste of time unless you own some exercise bands, no parallettes to be seen anywhere. No thought has gone into either DVD. There are tutorials on YouTube that are vastly superior and I recommend you go and look there, buy a good book and use the DVDs as beer, OK - smoothie, mats!

Very sturdy and stable
Very sturdy and stable. Great grip for dips, lats work and gymnastics. Also tall enough for deep dips (185 cm or about 6′ 1″). The only thing that could have been better is the angle of the "feet". It's not exactly 90 degrees on both bars, so when you place the bars right next to each other, the grips are not properly aligned. Still, I would have to give the Equalizer more than 4,5, so 5 stars it is.

Great product. Would say its a little overpriced but have used before so felt more at ease getting these instead of others that are on the market now.

Solid Parallel Bars
Yes they're expensive, and although I haven't tried the cheaper alternatives, the construction is really solid.

Solid Product!
I bought the Black XL Equalizer's from Amazon Canada they were shipped on a Friday night and I got them on Sunday afternoon from Canada Post speedy shipping! I set them up this morning everything was really well packed inside the box so the bars wouldn't move or scratch nothing was missing inside. Set up only took me only a few minutes they are very sturdy and solid they don't feel wobbly to me at all.Unfortunately I can't workout with them for the moment because I had a tooth extraction last week I'm not allowed to strain myself or lift heavy but looking forward to using them once I finish healing up and get cleared to exercise in the New Year.No regrets getting these I have a small room to workout in my basement I can do a ton of exercises with these like dips, Australian rows, spider pushups, pylo squats, mountain climbers, pistol squats, pull-ups, pushups etc.

Excelente calidad y resistencia.
Excelente calidad.

Tricep exercises
This toolset was made for tricep exercises. Step in between the two "racks" grab the handles securely and safely walk your feet out forward until your body weight is over your wrists and slowly dip down and up. One word of caution is that getting a feel for how wide they should be placed apart is crucial to prevent your arms from tipping them over and thus hurting yourself. Have a spotter/friend step on the back footings to prevent this.

Perfect for me
It arrived 2 days out of the up to 3 days ETA. So was happy with the delivery. The packaging is top notch. Although there was a bit of damage on a corner of the box (must be bumped by other objects/boxes during storage/transportation), the contents inside was intact. It came on a flat square box, that has the 2 U-Bars formed like a square and 4 feet on the 4 insides of the U Bars. Well packaged, minimal space/packaging, the bars were all wrapped in thin bubble wraps. They were not just wrapped but sealed fused shut (no hole/opening), and secured together with nylon cable ties. Comes with bolts and washer for assembling. The metal bars are well cut and polished black shine. Once assembled they are sturdy, balanced and don't wobble. Very solidly made. These are high quality metal fabrication and cut.Anyways the workouts. I bought the XL even though I'm not tall, I can do a lot of things on this. Dips, push ups, pull ups, chin ups, stretches, leg hang, leg pend, suspended running, L sit, etc...It came with a DVD, which shows a few sample workouts you can do with Lebert Equalizer (EQ). Total video length of 9 minutes. And I'm amazed, the starting 2 minutes of the video has some footage in Toronto, like Dundas Square, Humber Park/sunnyside park, the docks, lake shore. (There was Futureshop but it no longer exists.). Nice to showcase Toronto, my neighbour city.It also has 3 coupons you can use to download eBooks. These don't have much pages, but some info that may enhance your knowledge on how you can use the EQ.I stores nicely in the corner of the living room, matches the accent of other polished black furniture.Overall I'm happy with this purchase. It's a bit pricey but it's well thought-of product, solidly-made, sturdy, and also a product that proudly showcases Toronto and it's surroundings. I'm excited to do a lot of workouts on the EQ XL, and the would be fitness outcome. It should last for many many years to come.

Has Potential to be SO MUCH Better + Misleading Product Name
This is not a “total” body exerciser. It’s a great upper body + core piece of exercise equipment. However, besides the Romanian lunges and (maybe......if the bar doesn’t move around too much) hip thrusts, it just doesn’t offer lower body training. And both those exercises can easily be done with a chair. I like this piece of equipment for the reverse pull-ups, knee tucks and triceps push-ups. BUT the lower body exercises such as that silly leg over the bar lunge is something I can do with a chair or stool. DEFINITELY not worth buying this product for, as a lower body trainer. Gimmicky. What they should do is modify the product to be ADJUSTABLE. Add in bolts + holes on the bars so that you can lower your bars giving you the choice of regular size PLUS MINI BARS. I would never buy both products but I would buy the bars if they had the option to be adjustable. For example the inner thigh exercise that they promote is extremely awkward with the foot on the high bar. It Is uncomfortable and even with pushing both bars together it’s just too awkward. BUT IF I HAD THE OPTION TO ADJUST AND SHORTEN THE BARS then it would be quite doable. And the hip thrusts plus Romanian lunges would be more doable as well.I returned mine as the $$$ they are charging is absolutely not worth it for the few upper body + core exercises. Make them adjustable and I’d buy them again.
