I have just installed these into my pc and now i can only boot it up at 2133. i've also tried the xmp profile in the bios, but pc won't boot?

I already had 4 sticks installed of this RAM and bought another 4 sticks just recently. Knew it would be a bit hit and miss whether or not I could get the max. speed out of all 8 sticks given that I was 'mixing' RAM - and I couldn't. If I used the XMP profile the PC wouldn't boot, and I couldn't find any manual settings that would work. So I am running all my RAM (128GB) at the lower speed of 2133. Would be nice to run it faster, but performance is still good and the system is stable.

you need to turn on XMP profile in Bios (higher voltage 1,35 instead of 1,2) and make sure your CPU not not try keep proportion because sometimes it incease CPU core clock so it won't work

what's the difference between C16 & C18?

C16 or C18 describes the clock cycles between the request for RAM data and the execution of the request. For everyday computing its unlikely that C16 would make a noticable difference over C18. There are other factors to take into account when upgrading RAM.

I currently have some corsair vengeance ddr4 2400mhz (2 x 4gb) installed, would i be able to upgrade to these?

It should work perfectly fine as long as your motherboard supports the XMP level this kit runs at (else it will run at 2133, 2400, or 2666). I originally upgraded from a 4x4gb 2400Mt/s kit, you just have to check your motherboard is either an AMD B-50/X-70 series board, or Intel B-60/H-70/Z-90 with compatible processor.
