The smallest, simplest solution for using an iPad in the cockpit. No bells and whistles, just a simple mounting surface with elastic straps on the corners for holding an iPad Air. Integrated rotating mechanism allows for portrait and landscape orientation.

Does what I want it to do!
I am a Student Pilot using this kneeboard with an iPad Mini 5 that is in a protective case running Foreflight in an Evektor Sportstar. It's simple and totally does the job. What I really like is the fact that it does NOT have a flip cover. Most kneeboards have a flip cover that winds up hanging down the side of your leg. In the Sportstar, I have the control stick on one side and the flap controls on the other. I don't need a flip top hanging off in the way of either control! This is the only one I've found that keeps the iPad up on my leg and out of the way of all flight controls. The ONLY reason for 4 stars instead of 5 - is that there is ONE design change that would make it perfect. I'd like the iPad to "snap" into a holder rather than having the 4 elastics on the corners. This is minor, however, and actually has the advantage of allowing the iPad to be inside a protective case while using the kneeboard.- Ron
