Incredible sound...don't believe the naysayers!
I'm an obsessive Beatles fan. My Beatles vinyl collection is huge and varied...original presses, Japanese releases, audiophile editions, even the fantastic sounding Beatles in Mono set. I ordered this singles collection almost as a lark, figuring it would be "novel", but not something I'd delve into on a regular basis, particularly since reading some reviews critical of the sound quality, and sound is most important to me.I have to say, I was surprised, shocked, and blown away. I wasn't expecting these singles to be this good. Like, jaw in the lap good. Better than the mono box set good. I've never heard the lads sound more live. These singles have punch, depth, and detail like I've never heard. It was really like hearing this music that I knew by heart for the first time.Songs that I never thought in any edition prior had particularly outstanding sound really explode out of the speakers, including "I Want to Hold Your Hand". Songs that I always thought sounded amazing in the mono set are even more so, like "Paperback Writer" and "She Loves You". The Beatles were some of the greatest songwriters of all time, but this box shows they were also one of the greatest rock bands ever, even if someone else had written all those songs for them.Through almost all of the collection, Ringo's bass drum is crisp and powerful, putting the Beat in Beatles. Even on a track like "Yellow Submarine", those booms cut through with power and clarity without overwhelming the higher frequencies. The lower edge of the sound doesn't dominate, but is more prevalent than ever before and makes you feel the music. Again, the best word I can use is "live"; particularly on the earlier singles...I've never had such a feeling that the band was right in the living room with me.I love the packaging...since the original British singles in the day came in plain paper sleeves with nothing more than record company logo, here they've gone universal and given us great replicas of the singles' original sleeves from around the world on nice card stock, as well as reproducing each original label. Sometimes the sleeve and label have the titles in other languages, like "Hola, Adios". Definitely an amusing touch and a little bit of character over just plain paper sleeves. Each disc has a nice plastic lined inner sleeve as well to protect the records.Almost all the singles are full analog remasters of the original mono British singles; I've read that apart from "Free As a Bird/Real Love", which were recorded digitally, only 3 of the other tracks needed some digital restoration because of deterioration of the original tapes. Not sure which ones. Even "Get Back" is represented in its original mono release for single. Some did not have mono issues in the day, such as "Something", "The Ballad of John and Yoko", but where mono and stereo were both available, I appreciate they went mono...those were the mixes meant to be the definitive ones as at the time, stereo was more of a novelty, so the care and attention paid to the mono versions is far superior.I've seen some mentions of record noisiness and warps; I can say that my "Love Me Do" definitely showed some up and down movement while playing, though it tracked perfectly, and all the other singles seemed fine. I thought the quality of the records was terrific; one or two had some minor noticeable surface noise, but no worse than any other new record might have. In fact, a couple were actually so quiet, that I turned around and headed back to my turntable because I thought maybe the stylus hadn't dropped to the record! Some reviews criticize the sound, and of course, that's a matter of individual taste, but honestly, I don't get the low marks. I listen on my Rega Planar 3 with Ortofon 2M Black cart through a tube preamp, and I found this set to be an exemplary listening experience; best I've yet had with The Beatles. The only drawback is I bought this expecting not to listen to it all that much, but I know that's not true now, and that means a lot of getting up, as you put on a side and barely have time to sit down before it's time to go flip or change the record. But hey, I need the exercise.

This Beatles singles collection is outstanding!
Very much impressed. Everything from the sturdy foam packaging to the card stock jackets, poly lined inner sleeves and amazing sounding records, top notch deluxe release. Every record played beautifully, all nicely pressed. The international jackets and labels are a sweet touch. I had been eyeing this box set for some time and boy am I glad I finally took the plunge. What a treat.

BEATLES SINGLES VINYL COLLECTION ROCKS !
If your looking for a Original Singles sound , not a Audio file sound, than this box set is for you . Mostly Mono 45's with some stereo one's . Transferred from the Original Single Tape's when available { in most case's it was} and that's what makes the 45 sound . THEY ROCK ! And all the great 45 record sleeves ,packaging all great. Anyway, Thanks and take care, until next time, BYE BYE .

arrived in good condition in a reasonable timeframe
Despite delays concerning delivery using a one time password which was beyond clunky and difficult the product arrived in good condition and in good packaging. Not opened as it is a gift so will update when the recipient has opened it

The Beatles Un-Beatable
The 7 inch vinyl box simply blasts out as if the Liverpool Lads were in your room. Revolution took my wig off as one example. And one finally hears how good Ringo was in this band. the sound has never been as sharp as on this collection. For audiophiles and all fans of late 20th century music.

Love The Beatles? You'll love this. A fantastic release!
Comes packaged with nice dense foam packaging, no way this thing is moving around in the box during shipping, no fear of damaging. Everything about this is incredibly well made, no surprise really. Apple has always charged a fairly high price for their, shall we say constant releases. Regardless of how much they milk the cash cow they always do it with the utmost quality, this one is certainly no different. The case that houses the records is nice and sturdy, the sleeves are fantastic quality, none were bent or had creases or really any imperfections of any sort. The inner sleeves were also free of any imperfections and are polylined which is very nice to see. The records themselves are in perfect shape as well as the labels. The only minor complaint, and it's very minor. The center hole punch on some of them is a little messy, some vinyl bits hang out from a few of them. Again not a big deal and can be easily remedied if it's a big enough bother. The sound is naturally immaculate as well, super clean while still sounding rich and sounding like a proper tape master. Mastered from the original single mixes. All in mono with the exception of "The Ballad of John and Yoko," "Old Brown Shoe," "Something," "Come Together," "Let it Be," "Free As a Bird," and "Real Love." Presumably these were originally mastered in stereo as stereo was the standard by the time they were all released. Spectacular release that will not disappoint!

Quality & quantity is just astounding as always.
Apple Corps Ltd. and their attention to detail and provide something you are truly proud to own is astounding. The Beatles always went above and beyond to provide people with something totally worth while. They worked so hard to put out fantastic music, not only for their own enjoyment but they knew the people listening would admire the quality of their creativity and hard work, and that it was worth their listener's attention both culturally and for their extracurricular enjoyment. I am patiently waiting a new Mono box set on vinyl; when it was in print originally around 2012 I was too young the have the money to shell out and have deeply regretted not saving up when I had my first proper job. I bought one of the last Stereo boxsets and this one, which have sufficed to say the very least. Much love.. Your friend, Jon.

Beatles imprescindibles for ever!
