Solid temperatures but Sticky!
So far, I have been happy with the temperatures that I've been getting with this thing. It's usually around 12-19 Celsius when I am just browsing the internet and emails but goes up to 30s-40s during gaming. My only problem with this is that if you want to try a different application method besides the pea, you're going to have a bad time. It doesn't spread well and it's really sticky which I found out the hard way when trying to do the spread method. Luckily, this is non conductive and was easy to clean up with alcohol and cotton swabs. Overall, go tradition pea/rice size and you couldn't go wrong with this. Oh there's definitely plenty inside the tube because I kept messing up and still had extras.

I used it to replace the thermal paste on my dell XPS 15. They are working well so far, and the temperature of the cpu has dropped about 3 degree C in average.

Great Product
I purchased this to put on all cpu's and gpu's I have on a new system that runs very warm anyway. I was one of the Arctic Silver guys, and have been ever since Arctic Silver came out. I will have to say that this thermal paste seems to pull more heat away than my old Arctic Silver which is still a good product. In comparison I saw about 3 degrees C lower on idle and almost 6 lower on high load. The room temp was at 72 degrees F and both arctic silver and the Tuniq -2 Extreme were tested on the same hardware and software.I even gave arctic silver the 200 hrs it needed to settle in, by letting the computer run 24 7 for 2 weeks. This is an excellent product, I hope it continues to do as well in the long run.

If you pull out your fan you need this
I was having a fan buzz. It was driving me nuts so I cleaned the fan but it didn't solve the rattle. I took the fan out and did a real good cleaning but it still was humming and now I was having an overheat situation as well. A quick search informed me that I needed to apply thermal compound when reinstalling the fan. A little dab and problem solved. No more rattle and hum and no overheating.

Usually buy this from a rather well known online retailer when I order computer components, and usually the paste is of good quality. For some reason the particular tube I had is very... liquid like, and runs easily, might just be a bad batch from Tuniq, which I have gotten bad paste from other paste manufactures in the past, but this being my 10th tube from Tuniq, I figured they had some seriously good quality control. Guess 1 tube out of 10 isn't that bad. But this was also the first time I purchased the tube here on Amazon as well.Update: Bought another tube as I was running low, received from outletPC, this time the paste is so thick and dry that it is entirely useless. I will be avoiding Amazon for thermal paste in the future. Buy from known vendors that move enough product to keep the product from settling strangely in tubes while they sit on the shelf.

Worked great
Used this to repair YLOD on my fat PS3. Works great, first time using thermal compound. Had no problems and PS3 is fixed.

It's compound. It seems to work!
Seems to work as well as any other compound. I haven't personally performance-tested it against other compounds, but reviews state this and the TX-4 are very good performers. I have no evidence for or against this. The viscosity is medium for a compound. The tube lasts a while, and the price is right as well.
