First, please note that I do not have a green thumb nor have I ever been good with growing anything. I live in Southern California where the temperature is on the warmer side. I started planting these around May.There were 3 types of seeds: cucumber, tomato, and bell peppers. None of my bell peppers sprouted. My cucumbers and tomatoes sprouted but when I tried to transplant them, all of them died. So, I got a 10 gallon grow bag, threw all the coconut coir soil into that bag, put the seeds in there, had the bags outdoor and tried to grow them. So far, 3 out of 3 cucumber plants grew, 1 out of 6 tomato plants grew, and 0 out of 3 bell pepper plants grew. I planted some green onions in that soil too since many of my plants didn't end up growing. I haven't gotten any cucumbers or tomatoes yet but at least the plants grew. In general, it was an interesting experience and first time I learned about coconut coir soil (which I do like).

Really does have everything you need to get started , and keep going for years ... More seeds than you will ever need for a personal garden ! Love it , I am getting more for my family for Christmas , makes an awesome Christmas gift for the gardening enthusiast!

The expired date states best before December 2016. I purchased it October 2017.
