Sylvan Commercial Ozone Generator Machine 12500mg/hr Adjustable Ozone Output

Our office was recently cursed with a double-whammy. A strong storm had blown a significant amount of rain under the front door, soaking the carpet on a Friday night. By Monday morning, the smell of mold from the damp carpet had permeated the whole office. On top of that, some animal(s) had died and was decomposing in either the walls or above the drop ceiling in the structured-steel office building, and the foul odor of death was being circulated throughout the office by the HVAC. It was so bad that our entire office was vacated to work from home for several days while we dealt with the sickening miasma permeating our workspace. We had the carpet professionally shampooed and disinfected, but by then, the mold odor was in everything - and mixed with the odor of decomposition, it just wouldn't go away.Enter this ozone generator FTW! We sectioned off our 2,800 sq. ft. office and treated individual rooms and the HVAC system over a series of nights, starting with the worst-affected areas. We ran at full power for 2 hours in each closed room x 4 main areas. We re-treated again in the specific areas where the smell of decay persisted a day or two later. As the only non-smoker in the office, I noticed that in addition to eliminating the mold and decay odors, the ozone treatments had also eliminated the odors of cigarette smoke that had for years persisted near doorways and in upholstery. After that, I also treated a vehicle at about one-third to half-power for 1 hour, then let sit closed in the sun for a few hours before opening up all the windows to vent the vehicle's interior, and it eliminated the smoker's odor that had permeated the interior previously. A couple shots of "new car smell" Febreeze to the floor mats and it was actually pleasant to ride in again.Conclusion: This unit is well-built, easy to use, and most importantly... EFFECTIVE. We went with this model at higher cost than some competing units because of the adjustable output - which makes it easy to dial-in treatment of whole offices to small car interiors or closet spaces with the same unit. Highly recommended!

We purchased the ozone Generator to use in our rentals to remove the tenant odors. The machine is quality built, solid, and easy to use; plug it in and go. We could immediately smell the ozone when we started it. We ran it for the 2 hours at a higher output setting (but not all the way up) and left it overnight. When we went back in the next day and it smelled much fresher. We will continue to use the machine over the following week to make sure all the smells are gone. We could use it on hold but are reticent to as it could be a couple days between visits and we want the air to normalize before anyone goes back inside. We would recommend this machine.

What my son-in-law called it after listening to me wax poetic about its many virtues.I suppose it IS a magic box of death--to mold, mildew, cooking odors, and general mustiness; to fleas and roaches, and maybe (haven't had the occasion but don't see why not) ants and bed bugs; even mice and other small critters if they don't leave when ozone begins filling the space. SPIDERS! It killed all the spiders in my house! Basically, anything biologic. Anything that lives.The reason it works so well makes ozone generators a little scary. Ozone is a powerful tool. Use it wisely and with respect. Remove your pets. I'm pretty sure it does my houseplants no favors, though they didn't bite the dust. The manufacturer says to not come back for an hour. Personally, I don't come back for six to eight. Just...be smart. Err on the side of caution.There were less expensive ozone generators, and I am sure they work just as well as this Sylvan unit, but I chose to spend a little more to get some nice features. This one is infinitely adjustable from almost 0% to 100% power; from 10 minutes to 120 minutes to just-stays-on-until-you-unplug-it.This is a purchase I thought about for a very long time, and I am very glad that I bought it. Also, I really like its new name.

Used for our basement and a car that got water in it. Both got some water in them, the basement just smelled musty, this Ozone generator too care of it over a couple days of cycling it at night with nobody opening the doors. Perfect for the car. Got water in the floorboards and some mold. Took a couple days of cleaning and water extraction, then a couple more days of drying with the ozone generator being cycled to kill odors and mold. Worked great; no odors, no mold.

Awesome ozone generator! Substantial output with a handy option of reducing the output to fit your needs. This delivers substantially more ozone then my last unit which allows you to do larger areas in less time. Also has an nice accurate timer to shut it off in case your busy doing other things while sanitizing and area or vehicle. The power cord is removable which allows for easier storage without kinking the cord causing electrical shorts. Nice unit that I would recommend to anyone with a musty basement or storage area or even a car or motorhome. Also good for a fire restoration to eliminate the smokey smell .

Seems like a high quality unit, packaging was well designed even to reuse for a long time. Produces a lot of ozone, I used the timer and it feels solid and strong, not a cheap timer.

Iv used a couple different brands. This is the best in output hands down. First one lasted 6 months, second had almost no output stright from the box. But heres the kicker. I go to check on my refund at Amazon and they did it the day I looked at it aparently.....Then the ammount refunded changed in front of my EYES. So I paied $129, they refunded $116 and then it went to $114. I just checked and its now at $115.42. This is a Prime purchase and I should get it all, right? Way to be guys. I think I need to talk to Prime about my missing money.
