Sunbrella Patio Umbrella

We had replaced old faded umbrellas that did not have Sunbrella fabric. These are quite nice and guarantee not to fade. The fabric is sturdy and appears to be Sunbrella

This umbrella feels like a cheap fabric. I purchased a true Sunbrella patio umbrella many years ago which has a genuine "Sunbrella" tag. It is heavy upholstered fabric that has stood the test of time. I thought I was getting the same umbrella but the fabric is described as "acrylic", it is lightweight, and there is nothing in the packaging or on the umbrella that is labeled Sunbrella. There is no brand name at all. It looks cheap compared to the umbrella I ordered years ago.

It's a vibrant Red, made by a very reputable company, Sunbrella. It's ample in size, covers our 4 seater table set well. I love you have to turn it to get it to go up and it tilts - well made. And, it was very reasonable in price considering the quality and maker. Hope to enjoy if for years to come.

Love it so far. This is my first summer with it. The color is great but I had high expectations with the Sunbrella name. Easy tilt mechanism up top. It looks solidly built. I'm sitting under it now with a noon-time sun and have great shade. As I look up at the sun, it is hardly visible through the material.If you get a cover, you'll need to tip it to get it on so keep that in mind when you buy a base. I got the Abba Patio 55 lb. Check out that review.The company was helpful with base suggestions. Very quick to respond on Amazon.Let's see how it lasts--will try and update in 2021! I would definitely buy this product again.

You can't go wrong with Sunbrella. Never fades or loses it brightness. The umbrella is very sturdy, hold up in a good wind, but I don't recommend you keep it up if it is too windy. I'm very glad that I bought this brand. recommend it to everyone.

Now that I am in possession of this umbrella, I can tell you for a fact that the pole is dark brown, or maybe a dark bronze. It is quite dark, and might be mistaken for black. It is NOT black or dark gray, which in my opinion, would look better with a navy blue umbrella.But the umbrella appears to be of very high quality. Mostly metal construction with heavy duty paint, and very little plastic. The Sunbrella material is top notch as usual. I can recommend this product.

The umbrella is decent but for $179 bucks I would expect a better build quality. In comparison to ProShade sold at Costco this unit has a thinner less durable rope that is attached to the unit’s crank. I see this as one of the three weak links in the armor. Second the vent flap at the top is crucial to these units handling a breeze and not flipping over. ProShade has a generous well stitched opening, this unit has a small slit. Finally the poles come with aluminum thread ends which Is nice but the wall thickness of the tubing is uber thin. Again ProShade has them beat because they use a solid wooden shaft.With the pandemic issue still at had I ended up with this unit because Costco was out of stock with their line. Similar units retail around the same price point , so don’t think that you will be getting a great bang for your buck this brand.

I have had a Sunbrella patio table umbrella for 13 years and it never leaked once. I finally decided to buy a new one to match the new cushion covers. The second day it was up we had a light rain and the umbrella leaked in three places. I have pictures and I believe it is leaking at the seams. The color is nice, it was easy to put up and it covers the table and chairs but I am probably going to return this item. I am so disappointed in this product.
