Brilliant piece of kit. I'm glad I treated myself, even though it is expensive, but mine comes with a 5 year guarantee. It was a choice between KitchenAid and Kenwood, price and design were factors. Found a good price on Amazon over several days of searching for this and reviews here and elsewhere were great so brought it.Been baking several times a week now and really helps kneading bread dough. Was looking for a unit that wouldn't overheat. This is very sturdy. I have run it for 8 minutes max and doesn't need anything beyond. Follow the instructions and motor should last a long time based on forum feedback from other users. Previously baked by hand, and bread dough kneading was hard work when doing it often. My model is the 4.8 litre - it is just the right size and fits nicely on the kitchen counter top. I wouldn't recommended the mini version which will bee too small in my opinion unless you bake only for yourself. Some photos are attached of my baking endeavours. The mixer is expensive, but if you often bake bread or pizza or would like to, it's worth it. The 5 year warranty swung it for me, without that I wouldn't have spent that much on it. For me, this is a useful gadget.

The KitchenAid Mixer is excellent. The reason I haven't bought one before is due to lack of space for any more gadgets. I also knew it was very heavy. In fact I find that it's weight is a plus. It's too heave to keep putting away, so it's always on the worktop and handy to use quickly. This means I can now get rid of a host of other smaller gadgets that were used to do the same job. It is very easy to clean, works well and is simple to use; big plus points in my view. There is a wide range of extra attachments that can be bought for it, meaning that even more gadgets can be removed from the kitchen as I purchase the ones I want. The only thing I find a little irritating is that the speed dial doesn't actually stop at all the numbers. It doesn't appear to affect the beater's ability though. Definitely worth buying.

Easy to use. So far I have only made sponges. They were light and well risen.I used the whisk attachment.

I have a kitchenaid that is ten years old and is like new, so as my daughter has her own place I treated her to this, the quality is amazing and the sparkle of the is lovely is blends with every decor. The only down side is this model does not come with the pouring shoot bowl cover... but for the discount on this machine I ain’t complaining

I always wanted one as I knew how good they are since I used them at work. I have refrained myself from buying a cheaper brand, I saved the money and went for it. Totally worth the wait. Also very stylish in the kitchen.

Really pleased with this purchase. Not disappointed. Only thing to bear in mind is that it is quite heavy so you don't want to be taking it in and out of the cupboard.

Solid, easy to use, and the bread dough does not climb the hook, looks good easy to keep clean.
