Updated review: !st battery didn't work, BUT their Customer Service reached out to me right away and sent another battery quickly. At this time, battery is working good and no problems. Happy to buy from a company that will stand up to their product and give great serviceInstalled and charged. After running for just a few minutes, it shut down on over-heat. Battery was very Hot. Let cool down and the next day, with a full charge, tried again. It did the same thing, over heated after just a few minutes. Unable to use. Have never had this problem with other replacement batteries

Easy to install, the battery last about 25 mins on max vacuum. The only bad part is the battery won’t take charge when it gets too hot! It has to wait for a few minutes to cool down before recharge it!

Update. Battery is still absolute junk. Would not recommend. Runtime is shorter than original battery. I thought the original was simply defective. Received replacement from manufacturer and it overheats or overloads and shuts off.Customer service sent a new battery, which is nice. They’ve now sent me 5 emails asking me to update my review. So I am.

So I love my Dyson, but after about a year and a week my battery started dying after using the darn thing for like 2 minutes (if not less). Contacted Dyson and I could buy their replacement battery for $120!!!!! So, needless to say, I looked elsewhere. I have had this for a couple months now and so far it is exceeding my expectations! It was very easy to swap out with the old battery, fit perfectly and gives me much more vacuum time. I am hopeful this will last and not die out quickly. So far so good. At this point would strongly recommend this battery to anyone looking.

Purchased this battery in March and by July it failed. Called Amazon support and they were amazing as usual, sent me a replacement even though it was outside the return window.

This is not durable. After 4 to 5 months it keeps cutting out and barely holding charge. Very disappointing. I wish Amazon would assist in returning/replacing.Update:A replacement unit was shipped to me and I appreciate that the shipper reached out to offer a replacement battery under the warranty. After a few uses I can confirm the replacement unit works as promised and I hope I just got a one off defective unit the first time and this one will last.

Having had this for 3-4 months now, I can say it works perfectly fine and was no different from a Dyson original battery. Does not look out of place either, no-one notices.Was glad this was available instead of having to buy a whole new Dyson V8. I believe this has a higher charge at 4000mAh as well, compared to the original dyson battery.

Good product, so far no problem and runs for long time in high speed.
