CND Shellac UV Color - Cocoa .25 oz.

I was hoping this would be a nice fall nail color for me. The Cocoa is another of the CND Shellac colors that really needs both coats to show its true intended color. While it is a nice color I just felt it didn't enhance my nails at all. The color is very light and just melted into my skin color. This will most likely be a color I can use to mix with other colors.

this color Cocoa has a brown tinge to it, it is a nice enough color but I think it is more for people of color. I am very fair skin and cant wear this color because it just doesn't look good with my skin tone. I tried to layer it with romantique and found it just ok....but could wear it with my skincolor but didnt think it looked like it does on oliva's on scandal....which is why I ordered the two after reading that is what she wears. the product itself is great though.

This color is kind of weird on my skin tone. Too orangey maybe? I ended up using it as a base for a french mani and putting a single layer of negligee over the finished nail to mellow it out a bit. It turned out ok. I'll try it again in the summer when I'm not so pasty, in the mean time it's a color I'll have to layer.

I ordered this color because my mom wanted me to do her nails, but she rarely paints her nails, so she wasn't excited about the hot pink and red I have. I personally think this color kind of looks like a shiny band-aid, but my mom loved it. I think this color has potential, but I would layer a sheer, sparkly color on top so your nails don't look like a band-aid...

I first went to the salon to get my first shellac and she recommended this color. I was very doubtful but she claimed it was a really pretty, neutral color - and she was RIGHT! I loved it so much that I had to order it myself. I ordered it from Nail Etc. and I didn't get it until 3 weeks later (boo - they claimed they'd run out, but only after I contacted them saying "where is it?") so order from someone other than Nail Etc.I know the color of the bottle isn't too pretty - but on your nails, it looks amazing!!

I have worn this polish a couple of times and I can't believe the compliments I get on it! It took me a while to warm up to it's natural color but once I did I love it. I can wear it longer because the outgrowth isn't as noticable as when I wear bright colors. Nice alternative to the bright colors I normally (and love) wear.

I always get complements when I wear this color. I've been searching for a nude brown color forever and I've finally found one. It's very opaque, you don't have to fight with it to get it to look proper like other polishes like this. 2-3 coats is perfect.

Despite this being one of the cheaper CND colors, its one of my favorites so far. It looks kind of orange in the bottle, but is a really pretty nude shade. Super shiny.

My daughter had this colour put on in a salon that stocks CND registered products. She asked me to purchase the same colour. When this arrived it was is similar but no the same as a CND bottle the brush was hard and note soft as it should be. Once applied the product coverage was not as transparent as it should be from a genuine product. I shellac for a hobby and have always bought from the CND site but needed a speedy believe so purchased from Amazon prime!Also on the rear of the bottle there is no flammable sign which the should be! As it appears on all other bottles which are genuine.I would like a refund please?
