These Freeze Dried Medallions are a hit with my dog. He hates eating kibble because we always give him what we are eating. He's so terribly spoiled. I first bought this because of the great reviews but the reviews do not lie. My picky pup will go days without eating his plain kibble but if I sprinkle some of the freeze dried medallions, he ends up eating most of the kibble that has the "seasoning" on it. Sometimes when he refuses to eat even his kibble with the food topper, I soak the medallions in warm water and break them up and he gobbles it all up. The only downside is the insane price so I don't buy it all the time but when I do I don't regret it.

Amazing dog food, my two dogs love it. They are very healthy and active.

My yorkie loves these as an entire meal, but they can upset her stomach because it's very high in fat so it performs better as a topper. It's so good that other dogs try to steal it out of her bowl. It's an excellent topper and can be broken up easily, works well for dogs with tiny mouths.

My chihuahua is the most picky eater I have tried wet food, expensive dry food and he was loosing weight! Then someone unexpectedly gave me this bag and I crumbled one of cookies with oat milk (no flavor) and I was in shock he ate the whole thing and no going back. He has gained weight and looks healthy, even my cat likes it.

My large older dog now needs more liquid in her meals, so I got this food to mix with her Orijen dry food and water for an easy prep flavorful breakfast. The medallions are tedious to break up, they require much soaking and mashing to thoroughly soften. I now use my Nutrabullet to pulverize them into a powder, and store a few days worth in a glass mason jar. The "powder" mixes with water easily.

I hesitated to buy because I have tried so many foods for my Malshi babies. From vet recommended food, to grain free, to very expensive, highly rated food- they turn their noses up/ sometimes refusing to eat anything. I got this and put one in warm water. As it was dissolving- I heard them running down the hall. I almost didn’t make it to the food bowls because they were jumping up at the dish it was in. It smells horrible! But not to them. They are barely two years old, and I have never seen them enjoy a meal this much. They gobbled it up so fast, I gave them another one, and then had to actually hide the bag it came in because they sat and barked at it. I know it’s pricey/ and if I was feeding it to a large dog, I’d consider it as a topper, but watching them devour this and then fall asleep was worth every penny. I just ordered two more bags. I would definitely put it in warm water to dissolve/ it is very dense- but it’s a must try for dogs that just won’t eat

My dog enjoys the food. Thoroughly relishes every time eating it. The smell is good, has no problems digesting the food. It is high quality, crumbly and soft if you pour hot water and give it. I do feel it is a little expensive but there are no other alternatives that I have found so far

My dogs love this food and twice I've bought through Amazon when I could not get to Petco. Both times when it arrived the biscuits were squashed to powder! Will not order this food through Amazon ever again. To expensive to be completely broken up to powder!
