These are great for making lentil pancakes on the griddle. Have also used the puree in a soup, and will be exploring other ways to incorporate them into our menu.Some shipper at Amazon shipped the lentils just in the lentil bag itself and they arrived OK, but really this is a loss for the seller if the bag gets damaged. But, not to worry, I was finally able to chat with an amazon robot about it and was assured it was immediately escalated to high priority and would never happen again. Now I feel much better. ;)

Good product for a good price, delivered fast—what more can you ask for? I buy lots of 10 lb and 15 lb bags of beans from Food To Live: all good quality, clean (no stones, but you should always check), and very good price for organic.

These are much smaller than any red lentils I've had but it's great for fast cooking. Nice add in for Manwhich to sneak in some fiber.

This type of lentils has big grains that are fresh and tasty, and also have a shiny color. We love them and they are an essential part of our diet. Their price is very reasonable compared to other types in the market. They come in a sturdy and sealable bag. Highly recommended.

My favorite brand

I prefer the red lentil bean over green or black lentil bean. It has a fruity island taste, not chalky taste, bean taste I mean. I make a big pot of red lentil beans with vegetables like celery, onions and crushed tomatoes, bay leaves, Italian seasoning and lemon zest at the end of cooking, very tasty. So as you can see it's more like a soup that I make, a lentil soup. Its the bean that makes the difference by this company.
