Gruv Hard Bait Box

This is a decent option for storing hard baits, but I think it could be better. It's a great idea, but the execution is lacking a bit. This box really should be about twice the size. It should have a rubber seal, or some other way of keeping water out. The magnets work alright most of the time, but a way of intentionally and mechanically closing the box would be superior. Even just a simple latch would be better. When pulling out lures it's still possible to tangle up a treble hook or two. Pulling out one of the rubber pieces holding the lures in is an even more likely possibility. Also, it seems ideally suited to lipless baits. I've got 14 squarebills squeezed in as tight as I can get them, with one row left that will now only fit very small baits. You'll be best served mixing and matching different types and sizes of hard baits to maximize your space. (Keeping in mind that those lips are going to take up some space that the next bait is going to need adjacent to it.) If you're really going to pack your baits in, then be ready to lose the "quick in, quick out" factor of this box. I think lipless baits will be easier to work with in that regard though. Overall, it's a decent box. For the price though, I really think it should offer at least a couple of those extra features.

This will help keep some expensive baits from getting banged up ridding in the boat.

Amazing box

I bought this box last year, and I've found that most crankbaits do not fit in this thing and I've tried most. Anything bigger than tiny will cause the lid not to close and seal. Mostly useless, but there is one specific lipless crank I own that ALMOST fit with a lot of finagling so I use it for that. Way to expensive to be mostly useless.

Does everything it says and I really like it. It came on time and in perfect condition. Very satisfied.
