Helmet Hawks Motorcycle Helmet Mohawk Synthetic Wigs for Bicycle/Almost Helmet/Stick Reusable Design (Helmet Not Included)

I bought this because I wear a dark jacket and pants when I ski - my friends said I'm hard to spot. I just spent a week in the Rockies with this on my helmet and they raved about how easy the mohawak made it to find me! It fits my personality too even though I'm a 40-something skier.It's on velcro so you don't need to have it on your helmet all the time. Also, you can remove it an put it inside the helmet for storage / transport so the hair doesn't get all smashed down.They attached the hair such that it spreads in sort of a cool brush. Maybe less awesome if you wanted it sticking straight up but I like it a lot.Does have a funny smell...made me wonder if they were taking the hair off raccoons or something...

The item was not molded correctly, so the lousy adhesive does not adhere correctly. The adhesive used is sticky but does not adhere well to the item. In the summer this adhesive is going to get soft and it will not surprise me if a piece of the item is missing. If I had some 3M adhesive tape (red backing) I would have replaced the Chinese garbage that is on the item. I will replace the Chinese adhesive after I go to the store. The Chinese stuff will peel off easily.

The piece is about an inch too long for my helmet. The back ends over a hole. I haven't tried to cut the material. The front is fine, but the back section is peeling off slightly. I suspect it is due to not being able to anchor properly. It would have been better if it was an inch or two shorter.

I was so happy when I got the Mohawk, it has nice hair and kind of shiny but here is the problem it is attached to the loop for velcro! I thought the Mohawk would have the hook attached to it but no. My helmet has loop velcro pieces, I could change it but then what happens to my other patches. Overall it has nice quality!

The orange one was damaged before shipping. Part of the adhesive tape came off and glued to the shipping bag. And they are very narrow. Update- they shipped another Mohawk immediately. They are very customer oriented. Thanks.

I honestly was nervous that it would fly right off my helmet when I would ride. I cleaned my helmet, stuck it on, and waited roughly 24 hours before taking it for a spin. It stayed on the whole time, and it is still on.

This will go gray with my pink moped lol Can't wait to cruise!!! One thing I didn't read it all but it's a velcro think I wax hoping for it to just stick to the helmet but this is alright I love it

Really like the idea of the spikes for the helmet but you have to get plastic cement to get a better adhesive!! because of the glue strip underneath the spikes it come off the spikes but the glue strip sticks to the helmet. So keep that in mind.

Looks good. But no way of being able to attach it. It doesn’t come with the Velcro tape part. Only the Velcro that is stitched to the Mohawk.

Looks funny. but overall it helps me be a little bit more seen
