What is the inner diameter of these 5" surface savers .?

I agree with part of the previous answer. The overall diameter is right at 5", the diameter of the inner opening is aprox. 2.5 (more like 2-5/8 by my measurement). However the height of the surface saver is more like 1/2"--I can't imagine where they got 2 inches deep.
