Jmbamboo - Terrarium/fairy Garden Kit Miniature African Violet 3-pk 2'' Pot Create Your Own Living Terrarium

I bought this violet kit for the pots they’re in, years ago, and erroneously put large violets in them. Those of you who are knowledgeable, know they outgrew them very quickly. I properly cleaned the pots, and put them away… Until !! … lt dawned on me that Amazon might have the right size violets! Well, Duh!!. These arrived, expertly packed. The soil provided was excellent, containing everything you would mix your self. All ready for my beloved pots. My ceramic pots are the 2 piece type. The inner pot is left unglazed for the plants to gain access to nourished water. Here in the Sunny South, mosquitoes, thrips, etc, may follow you when you enter your home and also enjoy your plant’s nourished water. I fill my inner pot using our reverse osmosis filtered water with a little Thrive added. I plugged the watering hole on the conch shell pot with dirt. This hole isn’t near the water. I did it because of a bad experience in the past with a large violet. Mosquitoes were entering the open watering hole! When I lifted up the center pot I discovered a Mosquito Ranch! Ugh! Their larva was destroying the plants including larva atop the damp soil of nearby plants watered the regular way. These small violets have been blooming like the dickens. The middle one is almost ready but I wanted you folks to see their performance in case it pops when the other's finish although I suspect they’re going to keep blooming for quite a while. I’m in Violet heaven!

I don't have any complaints at all. The miniature violets were delivered in perfect condition and they are adorable. Great assortment of plants. I already had a nice collection of regular sized violets, and I wanted to expand my collection. It was a great decision and I have no regrets. The leaves are so tiny that I may have a problem trying to propagate the little darlings. Propagation is one of my most enjoyable things to do, so I will surely try. Thanks for the lovely little plants.

These are small African violets not miniature.They arrived without packaging around the leaves of the plant so the were crushed and broken.Sad and disappointed.1 Star is for the dollar store dirt rocks and moss.

I received my well-packaged plants along with a generous amount of potting soil, river rocks, mosses, and charcoal. The plants were all healthy. I bought the 3 mini African violets and a terrarium trio of plants. The terrarium plants come as a kit with everything needed to make a terrarium. I was really pleased with everything. I would recommend JMBamboo to anyone who is making a fairy garden or terrarium. All plants come in 2" pots.
