Abacus24-7 LG G4 Bumper, LG G4 Phone Case, Black

I bought this bumper for my LEATHER backed LG G4,and it fits, there's not much screen protection (protrusion )but there is a little bit.I also bought this AMZER bumper to compare http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010XM0BG2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00They are almost identical the AMZER has silver print on tag, ABACUS has embossed name on tag other than that they both fit the same although ABACUS seems to fit the leather back a little better along the long edges of phone both are a flexible material (one piece)Although these bumpers give little protection to me it feels more secure in the hand with the bumper AND still shows the nice leather. :)Both of these bumpers are "almost " perfect if they had more coverage over screen they would be perfect.I don't have the plastic/ceramic coated back but I've read they are thinner and these bumpers I think would fit with better coverage over the screen.If you want a little edge protection, better feel in hand, either of these will do ok. I just wish someone would make one specifically for the leather back.I should add removing these are easy with a little technique just don't remove one corner all the way just part way move to the other end do the same and peel cover off w/o removing back of phone

I can reiterate what has been said by other purchasers. Bumper fits well, but really doesn't offer screen edge protection. The biggest chance to crack or chip your screen is from dropping it on the edge. This bumper does help for a better grip. The company emailed asking if I was satisfied, etc. That was very proactive, but it doesn't change that the bumper doesn't protect the screen enough. I would give the manufacturer another chance if they came up with a better design. The new LG V10 also has screen glass that goes to the edge of the device. So hopefully some company will make a bumper that really offers screen edge protection.

Just received this and it is exactly what many of us G4 owners are looking for. The sides give good protection (the lip on the front is a little thinner than I'd like but there is some coverage). The back coverage is just as the picture shows and it is perfectly smooth. The holes on the bottom and top are in the right places and don't obscure anything.If I had to change anything I'd ask for more frontal coverage. Worth the $7

Very lightweight case, adds no noticebable bulk. Provides protection on back and the front is almost flush with screen, so dont expect any protection on the front. But the case makes the phone look great , because somehow the finish sits so well with the phone screen. Actually people have asked me if the leather back is a case, since this bumper gels so well with phone design. Absolutely recommended if you want a bumper case to flaunt your leather back.

Bottom line up front: Ok bumper case if you want your G4's back panel exposed, ok with the glossy (not grippy) texture, and don't plan on removing the battery frequently. I probably won't be using the case much because the cons far outweigh the pros.Pros: Simple bumper case for the LG G4. I purchased this case so I would have more edge to hold onto, provide a little more protection (not much), and have this little bit of extra protection without hiding the phone's leather back.Cons: First, material and texture. It's a harder material, so I would not recommend this case if you tend to drop your phone. It'll protect your phone from scuffs and scratches, but not drops. The texture is glossy and smooth, which looks nice and won't cause much friction as you remove it from your pocket. However, the downside is that the grip may feel slippery. Second, the fit. The fit is good...too good if you're someone who likes to change your battery on the fly (I bought the G4 because there aren't a lot of high-end phones that have the removable battery feature anymore). My first attempt to take the bumper case off was a struggle. It's so securely wrapped on the phone that taking it off resulted it me having to take the phone's back panel off with it. There were a few movements in there that I thought I was going to end up cracking the phone's back panel. Even after taking the case and back panel off at the same time, separating the back panel from the bumper case was challenging. So the good news is that the case will probably retain it's shape over time...but, it's a pain to remove the case.

This case is exactly what I looking for. This will only protect scratches not any other damages if you need anything else DON'T BUY IT. It fits on the leather back. The few things I didn't like are, The charger port cut out is a little small and not all my chargers snap into place (I just cut a bigger hole) Also the case still had the sharp edges (Not enough to cut you, but you feel it), I took a blade and just cut it off to make it smooth. The one thing I wish it had was a bigger lip around the screen so I could put my phone face down, but sure this is due to the leather back being bigger so the case fits tighter.

Well made. Good value (it's cheap). Doesn't add thickness or weight. Easy to remove (although some other reviewers complained). I would have given it a half-star less if I could have because I don't like the 1-inch tab on the lower right side (probably intended for other sellers to add their brand name).

Very disappointed. It has no protection to the front side what's so ever! I thought someone mentioned there's some lip on front to protect the screen in case of facing down on the table or something. But there's none! I can't believe i paid over $7 for this plastic strip.
