Subzero16620 35" Ice Crusher Snowbrush with Extra Wide 4.5" Scraper Blade

Works well for the price. We just had about 12" of snow covered by ice so I got to put it to good use.1. Reach- 4 stars- I'm 6'1 so it's not difficult for me to get to things but for those of you who are shorter might get a snowy belly while reaching with the larger scraper. My complaint is that the foam handle near the brush/small scraper is about 10" or so from the full length. It's a bit awkward in that application because the brush is full of snow so its useless to grab. It works well flipped around tho.2. Functionality-4 stars. The small scraper by the brush is great because it has ridges with a crisp edge that blast off the ice. The larger scraper has a straight edge so it struggles a bit with thicker ice. The tag team between the small scraper followed by the larger one is well suited. The brush obviously finishes it off well.3. Design- 4 stars. It's nice to have the availability of two scrapers along with a brush.

I live outside of Houston. I moved here from New England. This brush is the style I carried year-round in New England, for those occasions where a September snow might catch me before I put the 6 bags of kitty litter, four bags of sand, coal shovel, push broom, and stack of blankets in the car.I got all excited when the Houston radio stations started screaming that everyone should provision up and stay off the roads. I ordered this beauty figuring it would probably be enough. I don't have a coal shovel any more. I got it, and it is a dandy. Sadly, all I had to do to prepare my car during Houston's Blizzard of 2013 was reach down and snap a half-inch icicle off the fender well.

I bought a few of these, as my first one got broken by misuse (don't let anyone slam the crusher against the windshield, as it WILL break). I got this since we were getting some freezing rain in Alaska. The crusher end works great, set it against the windshield, and push. The ice breaks up pretty easily, and the extra wide scraper end makes it a bit faster when clearing the windshield in cold temps (or inclement weather). Haven't really used the brush much, as I've only really had ice/heavily packed snow, to contend with this year.

Looks like a great product, but I have not had the chance to use it yet as we don’t get much snow and ice where we live. Fingers crossed it works well when we need it.

I've had this thing for over two years now, and it is fantastic. While yes, it could be slightly better designed with the scrapers rotated 90°, it is sturdy as all get out and the length helps a ton for a shorter person like me. Hasn't failed me yet!

This is a quality ice scraper that is very handy, but with one flaw. The scraper on the brush side can scratch your car when brushing off snow if you are not extremely careful to keep the brush level with the surface being brushed. I still love it though.

This snow brush works fine and is well made. It is sturdy and long enough to clear car windshields without too much stretching. This was definitely the winter for this brush!

Pretty solid and much better than what I have been using. The brush still feels a bit awkward because of the ice breaker on top. Perhaps it will break off and fix this problem, but then it wouldn't be so multifunctional. Nothing is perfect; this is pretty good and worth price I paid.
