Very good for using in Brazil

I used the power plug adapters in Brazil and they worked beautifully.

I’m bought these for a trip to Brazil and they worked wonderfully. The only issue I might offer up is that they can be a little heavy. This wasn’t an issue for most of the plugs in Brazil, but I did find that the prongs were just a bit too long for some of the shallower receptacles in Brazil. This had the effect of leaving a little gap between the wall and the adaptor, and left some of the prongs exposed.Also, I hadn’t realized that Brazil has two different receptacle powers, one much stronger than the others. I had been told by night friend to be careful not to plug my devices into the stronger receptacles as it might damage them. I am not sure what Plugging this adapter into their stronger units might have done (I did not want to sacrifice my devices to find out), but might have been potentially dangerous.This unit did not come with any kind of warning regarding these stronger receptacles. Being that this adaptor set specifically advertises Brazil in its title, and that these two different current receptacles are standard in nearly every Brazilian home, I would have expected a safety feature/fuse/warning to come along with it to prevent potential injury/shock. As they are advertised as Brazil adaptors, they should clearly warn/inform whether they are capable of being used in either of the receptacles/currents found throughout Brazil. How else will consumers know of this device’s capabilities and limitations?Regardless, these adaptors served my purpose.

This company got me a new adapter delivered very quickly!!! That's great customer service. I'm happy with my new one. I'm traveling to Brasil next month. Ordered this adapter to use while there. The box and product I received are USED. This leaves me wondering if product is defective. That's something I cant wait and find out after in Brasil. Very disappointing!! I wanted a brand new product, that's what I paid for. There was hair on this product. Yuk!
