Useless
I purchased this so that I could adjust the bands on the watches I am collecting from and online watch club. Although I loathe writing negative reviews, this device was of little use and the plastic screw drive lacked the strength for repeated use. After the first few pins, the device was useless. In the end, I paid the $15 for a jeweler to adjust the band. I can not recommend the purchase of this item.

Watch Out!
This is a 25 cent piece of junk! Truly a rip-off. If I were dishonest, I would also sell this product for $7 !This is a cereal-prize knock-off of the real thing. It is very cheap, brittle plastic and I struggled with a jewelrer's loop to disengage three links from a Submariner that I bought from my Dad's friend...Never complain, yet this is unworkable and shotty in construction..a true knock-off...Jeff Besos is getting sloppy on vetting product.

Very useful little tool
Great product. It's not jeweler quality, but if you take your time and pay attention I don't think you'd have any problems. I needed to take links out of a stainless steel band for a fit bit, and some of them were a little snug (make sure you're pushing them out the right direction), but I love this thing. Well worth it, and will be much easier on my watches than a bent paperclip!

This was amazing!!
Arrived in the mail in one day! My teen son received a watch than was a man's size, so he needed some links removed. This was amazing!!! Quick and easy and the links were removed!!! My son and I are glad we purchased this. This is also great to keep around the house for kids....you know, Christmas time when they recieve a watch that's too big!!!

Works, but plastic screw drive is too weak
Three stars for "basically works," but with some important cautions. First, it works with a screw drive that is probably an inadequately durable plastic. If the tool meets "excessive" resistance in pushing the link pins out, the plastic screw drive will skip. Do that a few times, and it takes less resistance to make the screw drive skip. You can remove the tool from the frame entirely and still make it work, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the overall tool. It can also result in a bloody hole in your hand when you use your hand as a "frame" into which the link pin pushes when it comes out.

Fine for handy people.
As a number of reviewers noted, it is pretty cheaply made. If you are not handy or good at this kind of thing, get a different tool. My son and I were able to get it to work and do the job. The pin that pushes the watchband pin through was not straight, and this made it a challenge. However, if you are good at fixing things, this will do the job.

Weak metal pins bend easily
This plastic gizmo has very weak, pliable metal pins used to push out the watch strap pins. However, the pins bend very easily, rendering them useless. I managed to bend all three pins and broke one, and now have to purchase something else.

Seller good, item...just ok
Adequately performed its job at removing pins, though lining up the pins was not a simple task. Given its somewhat poor plastic construction, I'm not confident that this will last very long. Arrived "New", but the turning knob was all scraped as if someone had used pliers on it. The housing that the knob turns through is already separating from the main body. This will likely have to be glued. Not certain what the additional plastic piece is for, and given that there were no instructions or diagrams in the little flimsy plastic bag it arrived in, that will remain a mystery.Note: seller contacted me and offered a refund on this item.
