Unsafe and coming apart straight out of the box!
I bought this rope net for my green cheeked conure. The size of the ropes are the right size for him and would be suitable for other similar sized birds like cockatiels. Upon receiving the net through the mail however it was coming apart badly. I had to go through and tighten all the the knots together. Before I hung the net up for Bobby to climb on, I went through and wrapped tape over all the rope that was unraveling and fraying which was a lot of it as I was afraid of him getting his foot tangled or getting otherwise injured on the rope. I attached the rope on one end to his cage and the other end to hooks I screwed into my wall. I have had the rope for two days and he has not ventured onto it but he has reached over to it from his cage to chew on the tape. I removed the tape shortly after as I don't trust that it's safe for him to ingest. I am beginning the think that we may have received this rope used. If this is a new product, it is poorly constructed and I would recommend supervising your parrot at all times while on it as well as keeping a pair of scissors on hand in the event your bird did get caught in it. Better yet, don't buy it at all and invest in a safer net or make your own. I'm considering just taking it down and returning it but for the hassle and price of that I might as well just throw it in the trash where it belongs.

My birds love it!
This is a great product. My birds spend a lot of time outside the cage and they love climbing on this. The wooden pieces are perfect for chewing and keeps the birds from chewing my wooden blinds (yikes!). I bought two of the nets and fastened them together and suspended it over the window. The previous reviewer mentioned hanging toys on the net, this is a great idea that I will be trying.

Terrible quality
I bought this thinking it'd be a halfway decent bird net toy... I was way off. Half the knots holding it together had come apart during shipping & the knots that were in place barely resembled a "net" and more like a tangled ball of rope. Not well designed for anything aside from small birds.... to top it off my bird wants nothing to do with it (even though she LOVED the rope net she had with a previous home)Save yourself some money, and spend the time & effort building your own net.
