I own 2 shaggy dogs that get professionally groomed every few months. Sometimes, however, I don’t get them in as quickly as I’d like and their hair grows a little too out of control. I have no intention of replacing their spa day with my version of a bad bowl cut, but these clippers will be great for spot trimming ad needed until I can get them into their stylist. I made an informed purchase, and was aware of everything this came with, although I was still impressed with everything this kit came with from the comb and scissors to the 4 trimmer different-length attachments. The unit has nice heft to it, and feels very comfortable in your hand. I was most surprised and excited that not only did this come with one high-capacity 18650 battery, but it came with a second one as a backup! Those batteries will run a very long time, but with a backup you are assured to never run out of juice. The battery level display is nice and bright too, so you’ll definitively always know when it’s time to recharge. The only area of improvement I see is with the noise output. Although the item description states the trimmer is “mute”, it is loud enough to chase my dog away. However, I expect that with a little positive reinforcement and treats, I’ll train this right out of them! Hope this helps!

I liked how it came with a comb and scissors to use, especially around my doodle's mouth...easy to trim the hair. A big plus, was that it came with two batteries to use right away instead of waiting for a full charge. It also came with the standard clipper guards. The clippers did a great job, especially with the "turbo" button- I was able to cut on down and get the work done.

Due to COVID I ordered this to try to groom my Bichon Poodle and it was great. I ran it across my leg first to make sure it didn’t feel uncomfortable and it did not. It’s wasn’t to loud, actually pretty quite so it didn’t worry Mason at all. I’m impressed with everything expect the battery life. I think I’m total it took me 3 hours to groom him, including the bath and times the clippers weren’t on and I went through both batteries and had to charge to finish up.

I loved that the clippers were nice and quite and the vibration wasn’t bad in my hand. But as far as being able the use the guards - I couldn’t cut anything with them on. I had to use the clipper with no guard and the blades seemed really dull to me. I had to do multiple runs in order to get a smooth cut. I would look somewhere else next time for maybe a more expensive set. I went by the reviews buying these so I was pretty disappointed. Maybe I got a bad one that was returned because the packaging wasn’t all there and was put together cheap. There wasn’t even a box to put it back in when I was finished. Keep searching if you are reading this.

Very quiet. Cordless. Came with 2 batteries. Fast charge. Worked on two Maltese and a standard poodle. Very easy to use. I have had 4 different Wahl in the past. No comparison. This is much better for less money easy to hold. Fast and quiet.

Seriously, this product is garbage. None of the combs work, the quality is shoddy, and accessories are as bad as the rest of the product.

We have a small poodle with curly hair. It was incredibly difficult to get this through his hair and we could not shave him. We tried both directions different angles and everything.Maybe it would work well for a dog with straight hair.
