This WASHPLATE is an excellent replacement for the one needed for the repair of the washing machine on which I was servicing. Be prepared to use an IMPACT DRIVER to remove the retaining bolt (normal for this repair). Also, you may find the original washplate VERY DIFFICULT to remove off of the drive splines, especially if the machine has a few years on it. (40+ year Appliance Service Business Owner/Technician)

This piece is similar but different than the OEM Whirpool part. It is a little thinner in composition and the rims/edges of it are lesser/lower. Thus it sits a little lower in the machine, but otherwise works / does the job.If you are at the point of replacing this part check the grooves on the shaft of the drive assembly that this sits upon. This washer plate replaced the one on my Maytag Bravos Washer. It was an easy fix and saved me from buying a new washing machine. It helped to watch a YouTube video on the sounds my washing machine was making and how to fix the problem.

Excellent quality not cheap plastic and fitted perfect

It does the job but doesn’t feel like it will last. Doesn’t seem as sturdy as the original part. After the first couple of uses, I had some clothes get wedged under it.

The old one must’ve been welded to the washer, but after finally removing it the new one slid on perfectly
