NICE WATCH! I own $340+ Sturling Rose gold/very similar
I purchased the far more expensive Sturling rose gold, with rose gold band. I purchased an expensive leather band with safety closure, and exchanged, as I found the rose gold band too flashy. It is a self winder, and VERY similar in appearance to this watch. However, this watch is graciously thinner. I had the original band returned to the Sturling, and will hope someday to use belt and buckle on another watch, although with close to 50 watches , it will be a lucky find.This watch is as beautiful as inexpensive! No nice to see mechanical watches return with a vengeance ! Just a year +ago everyone thought the cellphone foretold the death of the watch. I could not be more happy to see a wrong estimation! And mechanical watches like this are roaring back. The watch works as beautifully as it looks. This is a winner, and impossible to tell apart from my timepiece that cost $300 more, unless side by side. Frankly, I prefer the slightly thinner look of this watch. The other watch needs a bulbous crystal which adds to the physical and visual weight. It also has so many gold parts you get lost looking for the gold hands. This watch has distinct parts which make it more interesting to view the depth and interest of it's intricacy. PLUS, you can see the time without tilting the watch to catch the light of the hands. When driving in my convertible, I am nervous taking my eyes off the road to figure out where the hands are. No problem with this watch. I will add the safety clasp, as mechanical watches are much heavier, and I really like this. I am afraid that one drop on my marble floor would be its last. The clasps cost a whopping $10, on Amazon, and most jewelers will put it on for free. I have arthritis, so they volunteer in a snap. Also, smiling with a look of sincere ignorance, will take you miles.This is a beautiful timepiece, and you will never have to return for ever increasing cost of batteries. Everyone will admire your watch, and enjoy seeing though it when off. They look expensive, and tasteful. Many have sweeping second hands, although this one has no second hand. Non-sweeping second hands on fake "Rolex" watches, are the most obvious giveaway. It is not uncommon for a mechanical watch to have a sweeping second hand. Always a nice touch. Try finding that on a battery watch!

Good, but not as advertised
A decent mechanical watch, but not what is advertised.Pros:-Nice looking, well made body, very stylish-Not too heavy-Has a legit automatic kinetic winder, but don't expect it to keep it wound unless you wear it every day-Not too big, even for a smaller wristCons:-Lunar calendar isn't real, just a sun/moon dial that basically tells AM and PM-Band advertised as genuine leather, but is cheap vinyl-Instructions don't tell how to set the second dial face correctly (pull out the crown and turn counterclockwise to set the small dial)For $40, it's okay. I highly recommend a different band as soon as possible.EDIT: After having the watch for several weeks I have noticed that it will keep time for several days when fully wound. This merits an extra star for reliability.

Great watch. Way to big for my average woman’s wrist.
It is a beautiful watch. Wonderful details and attractive watch band. I measured my female, medium sized wrist for size of dial and knew it would be large and it is large in all ways. This needs a large wrist. The Crystal is a bit elevated to show off the workings and even if I added holes to the band to fit I felt sure it would be no time before the Crystal would accidentally be broken. With great reluctance I returned it. Wish there was a woman’s size.

Looks like a luxury watch
Great looking , people saw it thought I was wearing an expensive watch. Quality is good, brass tone stays perfect after using it for several months. Initially I though it was a self winding watch from the front page description but it's hand winding. It slows down about a minute every day. For this reason I gave it a four star.

I love this mechanical watch, the only thing that i didnt like is that is doesnt say "swiss made" in the number 6 like in the picture.

This is a beautiful watch I cant believe the price. I will recommend this watch to everybody. Plus this is a very very lovely piece. I do understand it's a man's watch but I like the bigger ones as my eyes are not that good anymore.

No Instructions, finicky "safety strap (?)
I might have had a better opinion of this watch if I had received any documentation with the package. As it stands, the one star is the most I can justify. If the seller can help, this can change...
