Don't Tickle the Hippo! (Touchy-Feely Sound Books)

This book is adorable and I was able to get a better price than I could through my Usborne consultant, which is nice! I am saving it to give as a gift so my little guy hasn't got to play with it yet but I already know he is going to love it!

My son absolutely loves this book!!!! He learned all of the animal sounds that first day because he was so into tickling the animals. He especially loves the animal noise dance party at the end. It’s pricey but worth it!

My son is 2.5 and loves this book. We learned about it from his speech therapist and knew we had to buy one for home. He loves making the animals make noise but especially loves the last page where all the animal noises play together - he dances around. It is a cute book.

Usborne books are the greatest

For 16 bucks it should have more then 4 pages but the kid loves it.

Great book. Lifelike sounds

The drawings are nice, the sound effects quite funny. The song at the end is good but a little neurotic. My 10 month old likes it (unless she accidentally sets of the monkey or parrot without realising) so I like it because it made her laugh. My main gripe really is the price because for that I expected more than 4 animals so we played the book in under 30 seconds.

I purchased this book for my son because he loves sound books and touchy feely books and thought this book would be great as it has both. I’ve got many Usbourne books - ones with sounds and no sound and always found them lovely. The illustrations in this book are lovely but the sounds are in my opinion - awful - they are not realistic at all and sound almost as if the animals are in distress. With all that said though my son does like the book so will allow him to keep using it even though I don’t like it myself.

Given at Christmas to a 2 year old. His 4 y.o. and 6 y.o. sisters abandoned their own books chosen specially for them and played with this for quite some time.

This is my son's favorite book (he is just under 2 years) and we have to read it every day multiple times! The sounds are really cool and he adores the last bit where you hear all the animals with a little tune.

Got some new books for my daughter and this was one of them, she loves it, loves the colours and pictures, and the sounds the animals make. would 100% recommend this book to anyone, its great
