I bought this G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) memory kit for my workstation PC and I’m very happy with it. It was easy to install and worked flawlessly right away. No issues with compatibility or stability at all. The memory runs at 3600 MHz with CL18-22-22-42 timings, which is pretty fast and responsive. It also has a nice black heat spreader that looks cool in my case. I’ve been using it for over a year now and it still performs great. I noticed a significant improvement in my gaming performance and multitasking ability after upgrading from 16GB to 32GB of RAM. I can run multiple programs and tabs without any lag or slowdowns. Games load faster and run smoother, especially those that are memory-intensive. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs more RAM for their PC. Had one stick go bad after over 5 years, called G.Skill customer service. An actual HUMAN answered on the 2nd ring! This ram worked great in my custom gaming PC for years, so naturally my one big question was this: 1 stick of the two I purchased is still good...do you want me to return that one, or both? The answer was to return both, which I have done. Bought and installed these two new ones in the meantime (got them in 48 hrs, warranty will take 7 to 10 days after return confirmed) and they are working beautifully. Same seller, five years later, and my rig will wind up with DOUBLE (32GB @ 2600MHTZ) the original RAM, half of its maximum. **Update, May 11 2026** RAM arrived this morning, as promised. Only was I could tell the difference between this set and the purchased one was to check SPD settings in the BIOS. Slots 2 and 4 made by Samsung, 1 and 3 by Micron. but all working, as speed, happy camper here! Would definitely buy SODIMM when it's time to upgrade the laptop.

Had to grab this memory because I'm stupid and bought incompatible RAM when I built my daughter's computer. oops. Easy to install and no issues on startup - no config needed. Been running it for a couple weeks now and her rig is doing better than ever.

Item was defective. Although BIOS on my Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra MB configured this to run at the advertised speed of 3600 MHz (XMP Profile enabled) Windows would lock up repeated times on boot up. Only way I could get Windows to boot was to turn XMP Profile off, but then memory would only run at 2667 MHz (its not my motherboard because the same model memory I purchased from another seller several months ago works fine at the rated speed with XMP Profile enabled). Returning this and already processed an exchange. If I have issues with that one, will opt to return and buy this from same vendor I purchased the previous one from. Will update my review once the replacement memory arrives and is installed. UPDATE : I received the replacement RAM and they seem to work good ... for now. I have a previous set of this memory already in my system that I had purchased a few months ago from another seller/site (NewEgg). The ones from NewEgg were Samsung IC's. These new ones were Hynix (There are actually only a few actual memory chip manufacturers : Samsung, Hynix and Micron to name a few). The settings in the XMP profile were similar, except tRFC (This is the the Row Refresh rate in clock cycles ... i.e. the number of clock cycles required to refresh a memory row). The lower, the better performance. The Samsung showed 661 (which is not all that great). But these Hynix showed 991! The BIOS will then configure the XMP profile for all chips to the slowest setting of any one chip, so this forced the Samsung to also have a tRFC setting of 991. Benchmark programs will show a difference between 661 and 991, though in reality, the difference would not likely be noticed in real world apps. Still I could not understand why G.Skill would package these with the same identical model number, but with different IC's and different settings (ok, one setting). As I said, probably not a noticeable difference in real world setting but it is always better to have identical RAM in your system if you have multiple RAM sticks for stability. I will increase my review to 4 stars from 1, but not 5, mainly because I initially received a defective set; and 2) these are not quite identical to the same model I had purchase just a few months ago. On the plus side, G.Skill offers a lifetime warranty (and the warranty center is only maybe 35 miles from my home). So, here's hoping for the best!

Packaging: Shipped in a white plastic sleeve from Amazon. The contents were in a plastic transparent sleeve that was branded. Very easy to open both without scissors. Product Impressions: I have had 3 PC builds in my life and all 3 have had G.SKILL RAM in them. They're cheaper, still great quality, and normally last 5-7 years with daily usage for gaming. Easy install as always- just be careful about height if you have a smaller rig as the plastic trim on top is a bit tall. Usability: Works for most applicable PC builds. IMO 32GB should be a standard for all PCs. Overall Thoughts: Price is awesome for the quality and longevity, will have these for years to come!

Great speed and reliable

Where do I start when it comes to upgrading from 32 gigs of ram to 128 gigs of ram?. Vastly increased performance. No issues with overloading (would probably panic of that was the case) and generally feeling like bigger is better. Most times I like to alt tab and have Spotify open when im playing games or look at my alternative monitor when im following a guide to one game currently playing.

I have a X570 Gigabyte Aorus Master V1.0 mobo with 64Gb of RAM. I recently upgraded the processor from a 3900x to a 5900x. On the latest (at time of writing) F38 bios and XMP profile turned on, the platform completed 27 hours of Memtest86 and 4 hours of Prime95 without a fail. Absolutely over the moon with the results and it has allowed me to max out the RAM for the platform. Hopefully this will be of some use to fellow X570 users. The memory was listed as compatible in the QVL. I have now maxed out the motherboard with 128Gb of RAM.
