Good for the price.
workmanship leaves something to be desired, all three are supposed to have fine nib, one actually came with a middle nib. Parts in the caps are not aligned correctly and there are some debris left around the breathing hole at the bottom of the pen. Other than that the pens work well and the points in the nibs are well finished that allow for a smooth flow. Pens are well balanced.

Low price. Good everyday pens
Neat ink window. Asian fine. Light. Doesn't fill over 1/3 full. Writes quite smooth. Chinese pens don't last forever. More than decent for about $5 each.

Poor quality nib that scratches. Have a light cheap feel. Will not use them.

I love the Parker 51 and because of that, love the Hero616.
I have this set of 3 Hero 616 fountain pens. They are made in China and shipped from China, no sign whatsoever of any involvement with Japan. I also bought a set of 10 of these from Chengyida, for less than half the per-pen price of this 3-pack. All 13 pens are near-identical. The Hero 616 uses a bladder refill system, which really can be filled nearly full contrary to what commenters say. There are several very informative You Tube videos on the subject. Based on my sample of 13 Hero 616 pens I believe its fine nib design is inherently a bit scratchy and not as smooth as many Jin Hao designs I have used. The 616 is a close copy of the classic Parker 51 and delightfully light in the hand, as is the original. The degree of scratchiness is tolerable and may even be fixable (lots of you tube on this subject too). I love the Parker 51 and because of that, almost love the Hero616. EDIT 2017-10-31 I just finished a two-week "wet test" of 3 fountain pens (all Jin Hao) and am beginning a two week test of 3 other pens, one of which is the Hero 616 - a pen selected at random from my Cheng-Yida 10-pen order. It writes well, fills well (now that I know how to do it, thanks to You Tube) and has that wonderful Parker 51 feel. For the price, it's a miracle. The Jin Hao 9009 has a similar hooded nib, and is a really good fountain pen, but lacks that special feel in the hand.

Old is gold..!!! Amazing pens
I simply loved them...They are at a great price. Thank you for shipping them in a very careful manner. None of the 3 fountain pens had any damage, the nibs are all good.
