Works, Simple Easy Delicious, here is my first batch of garlic dill pickles wow!!
The photo I took is after weight taken out and I ate at least a 1/2 cup. I just made my first batch. DELICIOUS, crispy and the flavor is 100% better and completely different than any store bought brand that is filled with vinegar and preservatives. I just sliced a big head of Napa cabbage, ( more nutritious than regular cabbage) packed it in , After packing, I poured 2 cups of non chlorinated water that had two tablespoons of kosher salt mixed in. I weighed the cabbage down to keep it below the waterline with the glass weight included, making sure no air was trapped. I followed the directions for putting the water inside the gadget that goes on top of the lid, then put it in a bowl (In case of water overflow out the top (didn't happen). I wrapped towel around it to keep out light, and waited 7 days as the house is cool around 68-70. When I checked it today in the morning I began eating mouthfuls for breakfast, it is so good. I took the gadget off and misplaced the plug that came with it, so just put a piece of tape over the hole in the lid and placed in my fridge, where I am told it will keep for months. . I highly recommend this system, and I ignored all the online energy intensive PACKING crushing Recipes. I kept it simple, now I need more jars as I want some home made pickles next!

This is a great fermentation jar. I use it to make mead (actually melomel)
I bought this as an inexpensive fermentation vessel for making mead/melomel. I wanted it to be simple, easy to clean, be made mostly of glass and serve as an art deco piece in my Livingroom, similar to a Java lamp, as it ferments (Clearly, I've have a lot of time on my hands during the Covid Quarantine). I finished making my first batch of mead and I just started my second. This vessel is great. I'm going to buy another soon.

Great fermenter for one gallon beer brewing
I bought this as a primary fermenter for one gallon batch beer brewing. This is an excellent product for the home brewer. This 1.3 gallon fermenter is perfect for one gallon batches because it has enough head space for an active fermentation. Easy to clean too. I would suggest that the manufacturer market this through Northern Brewer or one of the other home brew supply businesses. I suspect it would probably make great pickles too!

Good for kombucha!
I use this to make kombucha and having the wide mouth makes it easy to add the tea. When the kombucha is ready, I take off the fermenter top and insert a tube down into the kombucha. Then siphon it out into bottles. This minimizes contamination from airborne dust or bacteria. So far kombucha has come out tasty.

Excellent product and service
This works really great for making water kefir! The original air lock came with a defect, and the company very quickly sent me a replacement. When I need more fermentation jars, I will definitely be back for these ones.

Great
Very happy with the glass jar and lift lid. Replaced the air lock as advised by my fermenting knowledgeable neighbor. This is my first fermentation experience...sauerkraut.
