McFadden Farm Garlic Braid - 13 Bulb

I purchased this braid a little over a year ago. It was the third one I had received from this vendor. As you can tell from the photo, one bulb is left and I can tell you it is still fresh and usable. Amazing! The quality of these braids are outstanding. They make a lovely gift.

I purchased 4 of these as Christmas gifts, hoping for the best as garlic is pretty much out of season at Christmas. They were WONDERFUL. Each recipient loved receiving and the garlic-- was extremely fresh. The bulbs were plump and moist. These are great for decorating your kitchen or dining room as well as cooking-- or both! McFadden farms in Potter Valley, CA (East of Mendocino) grew a superior product!

I’ve been watching grocery stores for a garlic braid since I found one three years ago. It lasted nearly a year. Hoping this one will last just as long! So nice to have my favorite ingredient handy. Oh, should mention how carefully they wrapped it for shipping!

The garlic braid arrived smelling and looking great. The bulbs we fresh. It would have been nice if the braid itself was a few inches longer since we actually hang the braid above our kitchen sink for decorative purposes but I was able to make it work ok anyway.

2 of the 13 bulbs were half rotten when they arrived today. There is no return and no way to contact the seller. Very disappointed.

The braid came when it said it would. Opening it up was a wonderful experience, the aroma was fantastic. Opening them up,The bulbs looked good except 2 of them have an orange goo in the roots. I also am finding that many of the cloves are beginning to rot. See photos.

Their fresh garlic is awesome. I have the braid hanging over the sink and use it everyday. The garlic is so fresh & crisp. It has a slightly pink color and is delicious. I will be ordering more when this braid is used up.

Tuff to find these in AZ. The braid is very well made & as you need them the braid stays intact. I’ll definitely buy earlier as they sell out fast.
