These are smaller than secateurs and meant for cutting thin items like flower stalks or deadheading not hard woody stalks, lightweight and easy to handle for snipping speedily, which is what I wanted. I purchased this small hand pruner as my hands are really small and these are ideal for my small hands,they are great for grass edges and cut with precise cuts,they cut flowers and roses from my garden to put them in a vase for decoration,they are very good cutting herbs for cooking,these pruners are sharp please wear gloves and be safe,the pruners work well and theres a lock on them to keep them shut tight when not in use.

They seem cheap, but they are cheap, so I didn't expect much. They're sharp and sturdy enough for my purposes. The problem is that when I squeeze the handles to cut something, the little black plastic thing between them (which you slide up to keep the handles closed when you're not using them) pinches my hand. I'm going to return them and look for a different pair.

Great for dead heading flowers and hanging baskets. Comfortable grip.

These look like ones I had bought before but they are much flimsier and struggle to even cut the stems on bought flowers.
