I am extremely impressed with this company. They sent the adorable starshine watchdog puppy carefully packaged. They included personal notes, instructions, coloring pages, and extra batteries. It was like opening a package from a loving family member. They put extra thought and love into this gift for my son. He loves this puppy and is excited for bed for the first time. I'm beyond pleased with my purchase!

Within 12 hours my 3 yo figured out how to navigate using the stars. The book is what really ties everything together and keeping up with the progress. My daughter absolutely loves how soft, adorable, and so imaginative this process is. She gets direct, IMMEDIATE relief looking for the stars in the dark and then trust orion is here to help! I love this product and honestly cant wait for more to collect ❤️

The media could not be loaded.  I could tell how much TLC was really put into the making of this awesome Starshine Watchdog toy for my toddlers separation anxiety and bedtime fears at night. I am trying to transition him to his own bed because I desperately want my bed back to myself and he has been really refusing to go to his own bed until I bought this toy for him and all he does is simply press the Paw and the Stars light up wherever you place them in the room the dog also has a comforting tone of voice and says comforting things to the child and the Stars light up the darkness so the child can look around and see that there's nothing to be scared of in the dark. You have no idea how grateful I am for this toy it's such a clever clever idea and the seller is truly one of a kind cares about the customer he even wrote a handwritten note and sent me a third star for a day late of shipping because of a family emergency. It also comes with a very cute colorful beautiful book to read and I could not be happier with this purchase. It has seriously saved my life and my evening time. I'm so happy to have my own room and bed to myself again thanks to Starshine Orion Watchdog. He's very cute looking and very cuddly feeling and my son just loves him. We bought this for our 4 year old as she was starting to come into out room complaining of monsters. We do have night lights in her room however we think this may have been creating the shadows/monsters she’s seeing.When we got Orion, there were clear instructions from Greg about how he works. Batteries were already included which was awesome and convenient!! Once we introduced our daughter to Orion she loved him. We asked her where she thinks the monsters are l, and she said at the foot of her bed and by her closet/wardrobe. Once we put the starlights there and showed her how Orion will look after her she was comfortable. He also protected her during the 4th of July “monsters knocking on the house” (fireworks). Can’t rave about this toy and the customer service enough.One of the things to watch for is the book. It is a great tool, however make sure you read it before reading it with your girls, as Orion was meant to lead the boys. So mommy had to get creative and improvised whilst reading this to her.Excellent toy!! Worth the money for sure.

UPDATE June 18, 2019It did NOT take the Orion customer service - read Geoff Roesch - this long to take care of me/my mom. It took me this long to update my review.Geoff was as good as his word and my mom got a new, perfectly functioning Starshine Watchdog Orion.My mom's eyes lit up and she loved her gift. She never did figure out how to make the stars light up around the room, so we did that for her. She liked listening to the comforting messages close to her ear, though.The customer service and the level of desire to get it right makes the Watchdog company just one of the good guys. Go ahead and trust them. They will take great care of you.UPDATE April 14, 2019 I checked this review yesterday, and Geoff Roesch had left a comment - anyone can read it - about how disappointed he was that we hadn't touched base in person to deal with the problem of the non-functioning toy. The comment was six months ago, but because he had left his email I thought, well, he made that effort; I'll just drop a line and explain what happened - which is that I had looked to try to find a way to contact the company, but there wasn't one on the product page. I'd seen "contact the seller" buttons before, but there wasn't one on this page. Finally, I left a one-star review hoping I'd hear back. I checked back, but didn't hear from anyone, so I just returned the dog and moved on. At some point not long after I gave up, Geoff left his comment. I answered, and Geoff, true to the great reputation for customer service and quality that I read in the Amazon reviews, Geoff is replacing the dog and working hard to figure out what happened with one I got in the first place. So, for now, we'll graduate the review to three stars. When the new dog arrives, in awesome, I'm sure, condition and perfect working order, I'll bump it up to five. I don't see any reason to keep it lower. Though it did take a while to reach this point, it was more my (innocent) lack of communication than the company's/Geoff's.I really wish this thing had worked. I got it for my elderly mom who loves dogs, has early stage dementia, but isn't dumb. She has some fear of the dark, or the things she thinks she sees in it. I pretended I had bought it for some random child of a friend, and we unpacked it together to "check it out." She really really liked it. She can't hear well, but the comforting phrases she closed her eyes, held close to her ear, and listened to over and over. Then we set up the lights, and such a disappointment, they didn't work. Triple checked the batteries and the on switches and that they were facing the right direction. Such a bummer. I was sure she was going to say she wanted one, and then I would have just said I'd buy the "kid" another one and leave that one with her.
