Light, comfortable, breathable!
These shoes are perfectly done and very comfortable to wear. I will recommend them to everyone who is searching for summer shoes for everyday wear.

Light, breathable, comfy
This shoe fit great, was light weight and also very breathable. I liked it very much and still wear them because of how comfortable they are even after I've worn them out.

and you can easily see through the sides
It's difficult to tell from the photos, but these are EXTREMELY breathable shoes. All of the sections of black webbing on the sides of the shoe have no further interior materials... that back webbing is all there is, and you can easily see through the sides. The only way to have a more breathable shoe is to wear sandals - and this is precisely what I was looking for. These will be great for walking trails in the summer. The treads and cushioning are exactly the same as my Columbia Waterproof PeakFreak Ventures. They have the same sole, and same innersole. Both shoes have relatively flat arch support, and so on this review I checked "no" for good arch support. HOWEVER - they're much more comfortable to me than shoes with "good arch support" such as Merril Ventilators, which to me have so much arch that I feel like I'm standing on tennis balls. Comfort-wise, for me these are a win.The only negative I might mention is the roundness of the sole. I have the same issue for both my PeakFreak Ventures and these Redmond Breezes. The heels especially are so rounded that when walking on hard flat surfaces, I have trouble find the flat middle - and my ankles have a tendency to want to turn. My heels tend to land on the outer curved edge instead of the flat middle. Interestingly, once "off road" the problem disappears and the shoes are great. I only notice it when walking indoors, etc. Overall, though, the more I wear them, them less this is a problem... just something I have to get used to.Despite the issue with the soles, I prefer these to other brands I've tried, and would recommend these to others.

they like to go for a walk
I bought them for my dad, they like to go for a walk, they were perfect and they look very comfortable and airy, their feet do not get very hot, we live in a tropical climate and they are perfect for this climate.

I can not say enough good things about this shoe
3rd pair I have bought, I can not say enough good things about this shoe. I am really hard on shoes and I use these to ride my dual sport motorcycle and the shifter levers are really hard on shoes. This pair of shoes do just fine. They breath very well I will probably buy more in the future. This set is not water proof, but for what I use this pair for I plan on not being in the water. Go Columbia!

Nice lightweight hiking shoe.
So far, so good, but I haven't taken them to a trail yet. Very comfortable after initial (very short) breakin. I do feel the "roll" that other reviewers have commented on when walking on flat surfaces - I'll be looking to see if that disappears on trails as they mention it does.

These are one of my favorites
Wish they still sold this shoe. Hands down one of my longest lasting and light weight hiking shoes.
