Just like old times.
When I tasted these it took me back to when I was 5 years old sitting on my daddy's lap and he would share this treat with me. Loved it then and these are absolutely delicious. Happy memories.

All about personal taste
The flavor is very good. I can not eat fat, skin, and bone and these were almost entirely bone and fat with some gristle. Virtually no meat. People who like a no - meat food will like these for their flavor. For me, they are all waste, high on bone.

... has meat and that jelly that makes it the best so far
I grew up on eating Hormel pigs feet which has meat and that jelly that makes it the best so far. Red Smith is horrible. There is no meat on these hocks, just fat. These are the most horrible pigs feet I ever had. I bought pigs feet from a Price Chopper in a gallon jar best pig feet I ever had. What a scam(Red Smith) . I actually got a head ache after eating RED Smith Junk. If you love Hormel pigs feet and I am not employed by them. The Price Chopper had a different brand where they got them.. outstanding . Shame I cannot find it in there store no more.

Make your Own Pickled Pig's Feet
Not like the pickled pig's feet from yesteryear. I found the feet to be overly fatty and there were a lot of dark black veinsthat were a turn off. Thee red coloring did not enhance nor make the feet taste or look any better. I can't say that Iwould recommend them to my friends.

I do not like the red dye in the product and find the pigs feet to be a little mushy and a bit acidic.
