I really love these birks! Its my first time owning any birkenstock so I was totally confused by their sizing options. I don't know what N or M means but based on other reviews I went with ordering an M and found that it fits my feet regular/fine. I am normally a 6.5 in flipflops and heels so I ordered a 37 M but found that it was a little too big, there was about 3/4 inch of space at the end of my birks..I think any normal person would find that to be comfortable but I like my slippers to fit my feet snuggly. I hate the big slipper look that everyone sports (inch of space all around!) so 36 M was perfect for me.

I had to start wearing birks because I had plantar fasciitis and I was none too pleased about it, but even though I think they are not so trendy I do love them. I had PF for over 2 years with pretty much no relief after seeing 6 different podiatrists, multiple cortisone shots etc.... surgery was the next option (no thanks) and everyone kept saying to wear birks-and guess what? They did the trick, I now have 3 pair and wish they had trendy boots etc... These fit GREAT-I wear a size 7 and have a 38 in Birks and Danskos. And of all the birks these are really cute! I got black!

Love these sandals, ordered a size down and fits perfect. Took about a week to break them in and now they are perfect.

I have ordered/purchased many many pairs of Birk gizehs because it's what I wear 95% of the time. This is the first time it did not fit properly. The left side was fine. The right side seemed smaller and the strap is much shorter so it is tight fitting. I am returning it.

This is my fourth pair of Birkenstock shoe that I've bought for myself and is most probably not the last one. The one thing you have to beware is the shoe size. It does vary from one model to an other in actual shoe number size and in narrowness. They're light, beautiful, very well made and will last you many years !

I love these! I looked in so many stores and no one had them! I ususally wear a size 6 so I got 36 and their perfect! Also to be clear: the ones that say "black" are NOT shiny! I had some trouble with this because I don't like the shiny ones and in the photos for the ones called "black" some of the photos showed them as shiny and other didn't. If you want the shiny one go with "patent black". The "black" r more of a matte and the "licorice" appear to have a cracked look.

Classic sandal. Supports my arch and looks cool. I will be buying another pair in a different color. :)
