Unbelievable Value!!
I’ve been playing competitively for over 40 years, own a couple of Meucci cues, a McDermott and some other premium cues and I have to say, the Valhalla gives them a run for their money! I have the VA232, and it’s actually THE straightest cue stick I own. The tip isn’t GREAT and I’ll be swapping it out soon. It’s just a tad softer than I prefer so I don’t get the power that I’m used to, but there’s really nothing WRONG with it either, so if you like that softer feel then you’ll love this tip.Finish is smooth and silky and nearly flawless. Love the shaft taper. It honestly feels like I’m playing with one of my $600+ cue sticks…it’s really THAT good. I expected it to be above average, knowing it’s QC’d by Viking, but it surpassed my expectations. Easily worth double or triple the price ($120 currently)!

You can excel using this cue. It’s not the problem!
Far too many people depart from common sense and reasoning! They buy a Valhalla stick which is the company’s china made cue! Then they complain it has a made in china sticker, or the glue residue from a sticker. They need to play with the cue and tell me why the game suffers. The Viking company gives options, they do not take into consideration that there are people who don’t pay attention to descriptions. The Valhalla cues are great quality! In fact they provide the prospective buyer the ability to get a stick that plays as well as a cue four times the cost, maybe more. Cue quality as play, does not correspond to cost. High cost cues are only eye candy for those who enjoy the narcissistic trait of showing off to those who have less. I played Minnesota Fats back in the day. I will guarantee you, he could beat you shooting with the butt end of the stick. These sticks are straight, have the pro taper, and give a great solid feel . The tip on any cue should be the first thing that one should be skeptical of, these cues have a good tip right out of the box! If I see reviews claiming the cue doesn’t play well, or falls apart somehow, that could be legitimate, but these cues are not like that. The guy who claims the cue is poorly balanced should say where the balance point is on his cue! Then he should say he didn’t realize these cues have weight bolts. Make it the way you like it! I received my most recent Valhalla cue yesterday! The cue was flawless. Within five minutes I had the tip shaped and chalked. The tip is one that holds chalk and has the texture I wish my expensive tips had. I took a shaft from my other Valhalla’s and it matted up perfectly and straight. That tells me that these cues are consistent in manufacture. All I’m saying is this, if you want a stick that will not impede your progress in billiards this is it. If eye candy is what your after? Spend more money! You won’t be getting a better stick. This cue is an example of excellent foreign manufacturing methods and quality control. Viking would not allow their reputation to be threatened by an inferior product. The shaft is straight and most importantly it is resistant to flex. I have high confidence in the capabilities of this cue in anyone’s hand and have no reason to believe it would be an issue in professional play. Buy with confidence! Half the country buys automobiles mad in foreign counties with satisfied results, I think it would be foolish to believe pool players around the world must buy an American made cue to get quality! They make their own quality cues, I think they can make yours.

Nice stick
Well balanced, nice feel, not terribly expensive, I'm not a pro but this is way better than the ones at the pool hall. I think it's making me a more consistent player using the same stick all the time.

Great cue stick
The cue arrived straight and true. I ordered the 21 oz. Which I prefer. The fit of the two pieces is seamless. The cue is very well finished and smooth. The tip (13mm) is attached perfectly straight to the shaft and already shaped and textured to accept chalk immediately. I really like this cue a lot and at this price, I believe it to be a great value of quality. I would recommend this cue to anybody who plays pool.

Great cue for the price
The media could not be loaded. I didn’t want to break the bank but wanted something built well, that shoots straight. This cue is much more than that. It feels like butter and handles recoil perfectly. Highly recommended; and this cue comes in many different styles that are aesthetically pleasing.

Good stick
Good stick. Straight, nice looking. Only complaint would be a small rough spot on the tip half.

Made in China and arrived with damaged varnish
the description says:"...STATE-OF-THE-ART UNRIVALED QUALITY. Before a pool cue is shipped, it is assembled, rolled, and closely inspected to make sure it meets our high quality standards.HIGH-END FEATURES. All Valhalla cues are fitted with a proprietary tip and the same stackable, interchangeable weight bolt system that comes standard in our American Made Viking lineup...."In fact Made in China and arrived with damaged varnish.I haven’t tried playing this yet, but my mood is already ruined
