So I have no idea if this worked in my big tanks, but it's easy to use fun to watch disappear and my fish seemed to like them. But I will say in my smaller tanks the water is crystal clear and alge is less of a problem lately.

PetCo is $33.99 for one pack of 12 balls. Is almost 3 times cheaper at Amazon. My fish are happier with these Pure Live Bacteria balls. They save lives.

I am confused by other reviews saying that the balls didn't dissolve, because these balls dissolve instantly, so I'm not sure what they are talking about! (Did they not remove them from the packaging?? lol) I initially got these because my tank water was looking a little "green" from all the plants I have and even though I was changing water often, it just wasn't looking crystal clear. I added one ball into my 7 gallon tank and the next day it looked so clean! I can't believe the difference this stuff makes! So happy! I also added one to my other 5 gallon betta tank and it looks amazingly clear now too. Great product.

I use these on all my new set ups. Only thing I don't care for it takes forever for the balls to dissipate. It is kind of lay on the floor of the aquarium. But I've never had a problem with them.

I purchased these Aquarium beneficial and I am just getting around to updating this review after trying these aquarium balls in my 20 gallon tank, after a few weeks of them be in they were dissolving and now they’re killing my fish. I can’t get rid of it. I’ve changed my tank three times now of all the water and debris and washed all the fixtures in it and this stuff is clinging to everything it and has gotten inside of all the tanks equipment . It will not go away. I’ve lost five of my favorite beautiful fish that I’ve had for the last couple years. , and after changing the water over and over and cleaned up everything a couple of days later it starts to fog up again, I have replaced everything in my tank with new stuff and it still is clinging to inside the filters inside the heater. It keeps coming out, I am still fighting it, I swear that makers of this product should be sued. It’s so horrible an experience to go through this. Please don’t buy this, you will be sorry down the line. This doesn’t happen overnight good luck. Why did you pick this product vs others?

I love placing these little balls in my tank, they work but mine came damaged and they’re not cheap, cheaper on Amazon then Pet Smart. However, they were awesome in their return.

Easy good product

I've used these for years and love them, unfortunately 2 of the 12 were dried out. Disappointed, that's over $4 in loss.

Didn’t find that this did much for my tank and the balls just sat at the bottom for the longest time and I noticed you could no clearly see the ball after a couple days.
