Bought these boots for the 2020 hunting season and they were awesome!!! They fit well, plenty of support, no blisters, easy to break in, great overall boot. They are comfortable enough that I can wear them all day, hiking or not, and they still feel great. I condition the leather with bee's wax every three or big hiking days, and I have had 0 problems with water getting. I will definitely be using these boots as long as I can!

After hiking the John Muir Trail in a pair of Danner Mountaim 600s with out getting a single blister, I thought I'd look into a pair of Danners with a stiffer sole and more ankle support for quail and chukar hunting. These did not disappoint. They fit well out of the box. I wore them around the house and to work for about 2 days prior to hitting the mountain. I spent two days of hunting quail opener and tackling some rugged terrain with out any problems and my feet and ankles felt great. I would definitely recommend the Pronghorns as a reasonably priced hunting boot the is worth price.

Ordered the wide and he boot is very narrow. This is the 3rd. Pair of Pronghorns all the same size, 9EE. 1st. Pair was narrow , second pair was perfect 3rd. Pair is narrow. Don’t understand how the same size can vary so much.

I literally wore out my last pair of Dannebrog pronghorn boots (purchased 2016). They were comfortable right out of the box. Purchased these & they are not the same boot at all. Too narrow (I wear a woman’s 10 and purchased a man’s 8. If they are too narrow for me, I can’t imagine how they fit a man’s foot). Toe box is very stiff & presses down on the toes. The heel cap fits oddly and rubs blisters at the top of the heel. I returned & purchased directly from Danner (thinking maybe the ones from Amazon were counterfeit), but the 2nd pair was just as bad. Spent a couple of weeks trying to break them in before giving up. Bring back the old design!

Bought this boot for a hunting trip. Laced them on right out of the box and walked 25 miles over three days No hot spots or blisters. Wonderful boot!

Boots start of just a little snug, but stretched out perfect,after mowing the yard a couple times. So far waterproof GOOD. Good fit in the heel. I have a narrow heel. Good shock absorbing sole. Feet feel good after doing the yard.10,000 steps every time. Good for hunting, going to the range, and every day wear. GOOD BOOTS.
