Mine didn't come with a remote but it looks just like the picture. It comes with brown paper on the back u have to peal it off also be careful not to finger print it up to bad I made the mistake of doing that so tried to clean it and now it's all scratched up so definitely be careful and try not touching it to much. And to turn it off u just hold the button on the back down till it shuts off I will def buy another one when this one stops working

My son usually doesn’t sleep with a night light but he’s definitely made an exception for this light up Pokémon. He uses it every night and loves it

A couple of things with this... it requires 3 AA batteries OR an AC adapter to plug into the wall. No big deal. It does appear bigger in pictures than in real life. It is approximately 5”-6” tall, 7”-8” with the base. It does have the ability to light several different colors just by pressing the button on the top, or it will cycle through them also. It doesn’t sit sturdily in the base but as long as you don’t touch it, it will stay put. My son is thrilled.

It was a little different than I expected, whereas, on the back of Pikachu there was a cardboard like peeling attached instead of being "see- thru" ...The on/ off button takes no effort. Tap it and its done, which I loved. The lighting is perfect! However! We had a hard time finding a place to put it, because the cord was short. I also have a 2 year old that would LOVE to get his hands on this, and the Pikachu might not last!

This is so cool .and bright . You can plug in or batteries.. very cool best present you can do for anyone that likes pokemon .

I purchased this for my 26-year-old son to put on his desk at his corporate job to remind him that life is fun and whimsical still even though he is now "adulting". Everyone loves to see Pikachu when they walk by his desk and always brings a smile to faces when memories of Pokemon as children surface. I love this little light.

My son loves everything pokemon. He was gifted this light for Christmas and it worked great for a couple of months until it was knocked off the table. Pikachus ear broke. I super glued it back on and set it back up only to have it get snagged again and break the other ear. Mindful that this pikachu was just dropped onto carpet I was a little upset. After about 3 months the cable broke the charging input and was no longer able to work unless it was using batteries. The batteries only lasted about 2 nights so that was a good deal. We ended up buying a second light because it is our sons favorite thing. We got a longer cord to allow for it to not get snagged as often, but it got knocked over once and is broken already again. This would make a great gift for an older child who isnt going to rough house anywhere near it, but for young children who want to look at it often, it's not the best.

Got as a Christmas present for a pikachu obsessed 6yo and she loves it! As a parent I will note a few cons: -very short cord to have it plugged in, which was easily remedied by an extra one we had lying around. We were going through batteries constantly because she likes to use it as her night light so it was on all night, so having it plugged in is a must for us. -also, it is quite bright. Pro for some, but as I said, used as a night light and I wish it was just a little less bright. But really, not that big of a deal. Daughter doesn’t seem to be bothered by it! But if your kid is more sensitive to that kind of thing and you’re looking to use it for a night light just know it is a little bit brighter than a traditional night light imo. Overall great! Daughter loves it which is what we got it for!
