What can ozone do for the aquarium? Ozone is a very reactive form of oxygen that can destroy an enormous variety of liquid waste materials and toxins. For aquariums, the use of an ozone generator offers a simple, highly effective method to maintain a clean and stable environment for the plants and animals. The ORP (Oxidation, Reduction Potential or Redox) is a measure of the oxidization capacity of water. I have been using this for over a year with a apex and it works great. I use a time limit to controlozone and strong pump to move air straight into my protein skimmer. Went from One bta to over 10 bta and tanks very healthy. It's electronic discharge so absolutely no water near it, on it etc..and use dryer and no problems works great.

I liked the instruction sheet
Product arrived quickly and as described. I liked the instruction sheet, and it was accurate and useful. Works well, for the fist week so far.The Silicone output tube does get warm after a few minutes of operation. But I cycle my unit twice a day for a half hour each time for my size tank.Did not use my ORP sensor and computer this go around. Ozone does breakdown the air stone after time, so I purchased Bubblemac Industries Diffusers to try it out. The AquaTek works well.

Cheep trash
DO NOT BUY THIS TRASH. Installed and ran 24-7 for 4 months. Opened the unit up to find everything rusted out. The fuse block was so corroded it was falling apart. The potentiometer was not functional (confirmed with meter) I re soldered all the connections to verify the wiring is working. The transformer is intermittent on the output and no voltage was being registered. Case in point. This thing was built out of cheep parts that will not withstand contact with ozone. Save money and buy something else.

BEWARE. They only warrantee their product for 3 months. Save your money.
It seems to not work. It's less than 9 months old. How long is this warrantied for? Should be a year at least I'd think. I had it away from the aquarium and had the o3 hosed in. Not sure what's wrong. So it seems they only warrantee their product for 3 months. I'd give them zero stars if I could. I can understand something that's 20 bucks having a short warranty but this was $85 bucks.

Failed, failed again.
Purchased one, died within a week. Took two weeks to get the replacement, which died at 94 days (4 days past return point). I've written the company twice with no reply. Was running with quality air drier and pump.
