6 Ounce Industrial Ice Scoop

It was everything I wanted.

There is nothing really wrong with this scoop. It is what it says it is, metal, sturdy, small. However, I have problems with it per what I was looking for in a scoop. The perfect one would have a longer handle, hold more ice, have a means to crack the ice and have some covering on the handle in order to hold it when it's freezing cold. As is, I keep it in a cup by the freezer for easy reach when getting ice. However, this continues the problem of people using their hands to get the ice.

I didn't intend to order this scoop but I'm glad I did. I had meant to order a larger one and apparently due to the old age that has been gradually sneaking up on me I ordered this smaller scoop. At first I was mad at myself for being such a complete idiot but I soon started to congratulate myself on my brilliance and foresight for ordering this scoop. It seems to be well made and that is important but the big thing is that it works very well at getting ice into the glass. A bigger scoop would have worked but a bigger scoop also would have had me dumping ice all over the place. I still need a large scoop for willing pitchers but this scoop is awesome for filling glasses.

as always - we as buyers should look at dimensions very closely and make sure it is what we are expecting. That is on me. It holds 1 ice cube.Also, it is is metal so leaving it in the ice tray = it sucks to use.To be clear again to avoid replies. These things are on me. But If I give a 5 star review others who might make same mistake might not read it. And honestly I can see no actual use for an ice scoop this size.

This is a very nice ice scoop but simply too small. It does not work well for the 1/2 moon shaped ice my automatic ice maker produces. Smaller cubes such as come in store-bought bags work a little better but the scoop is still a bit too small to pick up many. I can see it being great for crushed ice although I haven't tried that.I would give this scoop 5 stars in a larger size since it is sturdy and well made.

I love it. It's a really nice size for a personal bartender whenever you need an ice scoop. It grabs a right amount of ice (depending on the glass size & drink). The holes are a plus but wish they were more closer to the handle.

This scoop is absolutely perfect for my needs (scooping ice from an ice bucket, into cocktail glasses and shakers) first of all its got high walls and its narrow enough to fit into highball glasses etc. without dumping ice everywhere, also the holes drilled in the bottom of it means less water in my cocktail glass. if you are looking for a large ice scoop look elsewhere this is one is small. and it's not exactly beautiful but its cheap and it gets the job done.

I bought this for the shared ice maker in my kitchen. Too small for realistic use. Only grabs about 3-4 cubes at a time. My roommate doesn't even want to use it because it's so inefficient.
