Good for the price
I was hesitant to purchase due to the lower reviews a few wrote, but for the price I decided to give them a try anyways. I needed them to use for my 4 yr old ballet class. She has very long, straight, thick hair and the pins are very easy to use. So far with all the jumping and moving around she does the bun hasn't come apart (I use 2 pins). I use the other 2 for my very thin hair and they've kept my bun intact. I definitely recommend them!

Shorter than Normal Size
We are all used to the one on the right. This product is the one on the left. Compared to the norm: its plastic, not metal.- which was not in the description. Springy, not AS sturdy. And it's shorter! It still works but, don't think you're getting 'extra' with it being a 4 pak. I use all 4 in place of the normal 2 metal ones. They technically work. Another example of the cheap earth killing plastic made garbage corporations shove down our throats so we can buy more when these break. Cos they will.

I was doubtful . . .
I saw these odd -looking "Bobby pins" and decided to give them a try. They are advertised as being for buns and that's exactly right. Wrap up your hair and then "screw" these pins in. The hold is amazing and they're just as easy to remove!

As Good as Goody Brand
I have long, heavy straight hair. I'm also bobby pin challenged. Spin pins are a godsend for me. I'm used to the Goody brand pins, but when I couldn't find them I tried these. The length is between the short and the long size Goody pins. I was worried about them being too long but they're not. They're not quite as stiff as the Goody brand, but after many uses, they haven't lose their shape at all. Very easy to use. Lots of hold. Very comfortable. The gold finish hasn't tarnished or worn off at all though I have not used them with hairspray. Would buy again and would recommend to anyone.

Spirals
These donโt work well in my thick hair. They need to be about an inch longer for longer hair.

I loved them so much, I am back here to buy some more.
These 2 inch spin pins are impossible to find in any store around me. I was watching a hair tutorial on you tube, and she mentioned these. Good quality. I use 4 to make a messy bun. I placed them all into the bun, and somehow they can all intertwine together, but it is easy to get them apart. I also air dry my hair until it is just a tiny bit damp, and put three little buns on top of my head. The next morning, I get big beachy waves. If I donโt like how the curls come out, I put on a protective cream, let it dry and then re-curl my hair into my desired style. My hair is thin, and with this technique I seem to get longer lasting body. A great way to create heat free curls or texture. I highly recommend.

Guess, I don't have enough hair. They fell out.
I have fine hair. They would not hold my hair.
