Are these dehydrated?

The package states dehydrated and they are dehydrated.

Did I ruin the grains putting them in super hot water, also can I use reverse osmosis water?

The grains should be fine. They may take a bit longer to get fizz. Reverse osmosis water is not optimal because all of the vitamins and minerals are stripped from it. You can try adding a pinch of Himalayan pink salt to your first ferment to replenish the minerals.

Do you know if i can use lakanto sugar? it is what i have.

No, do not use Lakanto suger. Demera, raw sugar, granulated. Lakanto would not be an appropriate sugar for water kefir grains.

Your ad doesn't state weight of grains to be shipped. 1/4 cup? 1/2 cup?

The package is for dehydrated grains. When I weigh them it was 10 grams. After hydration, they were 90 grams or approximately 1/4 cup.
