KEENMen's Targhee 3 Low Height Waterproof Hiking Shoe

I previously wore out a pair of keen utility shoes. Put over 2000 miles(off-road @230+ lbs, 3 years old) on them before they started to blow out. As a result of that success I decided to buy another pair of keens. I determined that I needed a stiffer sole (rock bruises,etc) than the other pair so I opted for the target 3 low height waterproof hiking shoes. The initial fit was a bit stiff, a bit uncomfortable, and required break in. It took about 30 miles of hiking before I felt as comfortable as my utility shoe. That said I wouldn't let that stop you. I am ordering another pair for casual wear because I like them so much. Another thing is that I've been hiking through wet, nasty slushy snow and the waterproofing has been great. For the price --> I give Five stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and two thumbs up👍👍.Note: I have only put about 150 miles of cattle trail hiking on this pair of shoes.

Bought these primarily for work (handyman) but they are just as good and comfortable for every day wear. I like that they feel like they really protect my feet and great for traction going up and down ladders or framing a deck. They go on and off easy - so much so i would expect them to fall off or be as loose as my crocs - but they are snug on the feet yet really roomy. I have had these about 4mo i think and they still look new. Going to get another pair in a different color

I was looking for waterproof hiking shoes and found these on sale. I’d happily buy another pair at full price! I might try the standard width as the wides are a little too wide, but are perfect for my thick winter socks. Zero complaints otherwise. These are comfortable, sturdy, and don’t leak. I bought these for work, but I might buy a second “clean” pair to wear everywhere else!

I needed a wide shoe and this one fit the bill. The toe box was perfect and kept me from having troubles with my nails, which other boots had caused. The outer shoe was great. Durable and protected my feet well with good traction. I walked for nine days on the Camino, averaging 20 miles a day. After about a week, the padding in the back of the shoe completely broke down and wore through, which started chewing my socks up. The waterproofing also started to fail. In fairness, I had about 120 "break in" miles and another 150 hard miles on the shoes with no problems (major elevations changes and rain almost everyday). I put moleskin in the heels which helped, but if I had not had that, I would have been in trouble. Great, comfortable shoe for light duty, but not up to the challenges I put it through. I would consider buying again for day hiking or shorter trips as it fil my wide foot well and was comfortable. If the interior of the shoe has been more durable, I would have given an enthusiastic 5+.

I've worn them constantly in all kinds of conditions including literally walking through rivers, and they've held up like champs. Also, for anybody out there like me with duck feet, the wide size really is wide. And they're really comfortable. I love these shoes.

Got these thinking I was going to hike in Kauai. Never did hike, and decided to use them on morning walks. Little heavier than walking shoes but very comfortable and did not have to break them in. Would recommend for hiking OR walking.

Keen has taken over as the best hiking shoe! Well made excellent fit true to size. Merralls have become cheap ill-fitted and just not worth the money. Their wides are not wide! The quality has been cheapened to make more money. Sorry but Keen shoes RULE!!

Grippy, comfy, waterproof.

Too early to say they are hard wearing but they fit and they look good.
