Very sturdy built, puts out good amount of air, was easy to hang , I use it on front porch, not extremely loud- not real quiet either. Will be buying another for back porch.

I was seeking a fan for inside my house. Because of this, I wanted it to be reasonably quiet but still move plenty of air. The 18" size is a good balance for these purposes so I bought this fan. Great looking and effective at moving air, plus it was quiet, BUT, it was out of balance. So even though it was quiet, the vibration made it sound like a helicopter. And the sound phased in and out which made it even more annoying. I decided to return it and try a different brand. The next fan I tried was the following Tornado. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PLXSX7Y It was very well balanced, but MUCH louder than the Simple Deluxe. So loud that I couldn't live with it in the house. I then decided to give Simple Deluxe another try to see if I could get one in balance, because it was soooo much quieter. Happily, the second one was very well balanced. So, after three fans and two brands, I finally got a quiet, well balanced fan that moves a lot of air. The first, out of balance Simple Deluxe I would have rated at 2 stars, but with the free return service and quick shipping of a good replacement unit, I am giving it 5 starts. Just make SURE you get a balanced fan! Oh, also note that the Tornado is not a free return, so it cost me 10 dollars in return shipping to finally get my set up how I wanted it. MAKE SURE you get one with free returns if you aren't sure whether you will keep it or not. Be aware that I found the same Simple Deluxe fan on two different listings, one with, and one without free returns.

This fan is just what we needed to complete our "pain cave." We recently purchased the Schwinn IC4 smart bike. I mounted a TV on the wall of our garage so I could do Zwift workouts. The temps in the garage were making workouts very uncomfortable. Adding this fan made a huge difference. Now I could not ride without it. I used a 5 inch 3/8 lag bolt, a metal washer and 8 rubber washers (from Amazon) to secure the fan to the ceiling. The rubber washers create enough friction to let us pivot the fan towards our bike or the elliptical. The rubber washers worked great once they were compressed between the fan bracket and the ceiling. We also plugged the fan into a wifi smart plug so we can tell Google to turn the fan on or off. So nice! The fan itself is well constructed, mostly metal parts. The power is amazing. It sits about 10 feet from my stationary bike, and the low setting is more than enough to keep me comfortable during a workout. I think that medium and high would blow you away. Ha ha. It's awesome. I highly recommend this fan!

The good: Works great in my shop to keep me cool. Took no time to set it up. Fast delivery. Well packaged. No missing parts. The not so good: There are 3 speeds: fast, really fast, and super fast. Needs a low setting. It's LOUD. If you're watching video or listening to audio well, forget it. Yes, it's that loud. Quality. I mean it's okay but I'm not sure how it is going to hold up. Bottom line: It's a nice fan. It does move a lot of air. Price is spot on.

Update: A little less than one year later and one works and the other doesn’t. We’re super sad as Arkansas summers are brutal! We used them outside for my daughter’s birthday party. We had it on a medium setting and it worked great. We could still hear each other which is what we were worried about and it cooled us quite a lot. We live in Arkansas and had her party at the end of August for anyone who knows Arkansas you know it was way too hot to be doing that without fans and lots of water. It was in the high 90s to 100s with high humidity and they helped us adults a lot. They also kept flies off of our food which was wonderful.

We bought this fan for our patio use. We are very happy with the quality and fan speed. The video is on low speed and is usually enough. The air flow and noise level is good. It’s a good value for the price. I priced other fans comparable at almost double the price of this one. I highly recommend this product.

Purchased 2 of these for my garage gym and they make a world of a difference. Durable and easy to use since it’s a pull string and has three settings. Low medium and high. Each setting moves a good amount of air with each setting getting better and better. Definitely worth picking up for indoor garage gyms, a workshop, patio or outdoor covered area. They are not waterproof so do keep in mind you need to keep them out of the elements.

Excellent fan good build quality, I got this fan for my semi finished basement even on the lowest setting it circulates the air through the whole room which is roughly 20ftx40ft. haven't mounted it yet but comes with all the hardware you need to do so. it is quite loud if thats an issue than look else where if not this will keep you cool all summer!

Fan has tons of power,works very well in my horse barn.a bit loud but great as soon as horses got used to it

I use these fans in my greenhouse and they works amazing. They are not too loud the level of noise they give off at full speed is as expected. Sounds like a nice strong fan running and it moves the air around very well.
