20pcs Black Bulge M12x1.5 Lug Nuts - Conical Cone Taper Acorn Seat, Closed End - 1.4 inch Length - Installs with 19mm or 3/4 inch Hex Socket

I know that one of the big knocks against black lug nuts made of steel or some amalgam of steel/alloy is that they're prone to chip. I used a standard socket (hand tool, not power or pneumatic) and wrench to install these and no paint got nicked off. We'll see how they do through a Midwest USA Winter, but so far, I like these black lug nuts a lot. Much better than the weird contrast of the old chrome lugs with my dark gunmetal rims (before/after photos attached). Of course, this is all subjective. If chrome is your thing, cool beans. But I wanted black, and, I mean, what the heck - they're less than $15 shipped, so I am willing to do a little touch-up on them down the line, if needed. Happy with purchase? Yes.

Out of the box they look nice, they are solid and torque down great. The black paint immediately chips though. But they are black, so I do not really mind. They are great replacement to the trash two piece stock bolts that expand and become a hazard.

These worked great. The black is good and shiny and didn't come off when we installed them as some have done in the past!

These are solid lug nuts. They work well. They seem to be average in durability and style (they are, after all, lug nuts). I'd give them an additional star if the paint was more durable. It's very difficult to avoid scratching them no matter how careful you are. But they are a good product for the money.
