Boy Love Heaven - Is the King always right?
Caste Heaven!! It’s definitely not for the faint hearted, it challenges a lot of different topics! Sex, protection, individual identity, sexuality and many more! Is definitely 18+.It arrived sealed & was in great condition*Anyone with a R*pe or Assault trigger I’d suggest you don’t read this! You may find it slightly challenging as the story progresses* (in my opinion this is)

Good but problematic
I quite enjoyed vol 1 and recently ordered vol 2 to see what happens. Although this is not the manga for you if you're looking for some sweet and wholesome bl, this manga is very problematic but enjoyable if you don't mind reading about such things. There's a review I seen somewhere here that explains why its on the problematic side and everything in it is true, so take caution on that if you don't like such topics!

It's Caste Heaven; Know what you're Getting Into
**Spoilers ahead (for first volume, though I tried to keep it relatively limited to what people probably already know about CH) - read at own caution**Literally think of all the triggers that you can in Yaoi (rape, gangrape, violence, psychological manipulation, BDSM, violent s*x, abuse of power dynamic, poverty, prostitution etc.) and it's in Caste Heaven. If it squicks you out, easy, just don't read it. It's definitely not for everyone. For everyone else, it's a deliciously degenerate ride. TBH it was too much for me at first when I read it a couple years ago, but now I like it. Ogawa-sensei's art is so pretty, a contrast to the multitude of cruel things going on in CH. The main couple's uke is super tough and can hold his own, which I like, rather than the helpless "girly" ukes that do nothing but just complain and look like deer in the headlights half the time. It's a fire / ice kind of dance, with the uke being fiery hot, impulsive, arrogant, loudmouthed, and the seme being cold, composed, cruel, calculating (and slightly sociopathic - not slightly, okay Karino is an all out sociopath, that's canon.) Their similarity lies in their lack of connection to others and strong desire to want to go it alone. But it's super interesting, I think, to watch these two people who are fiercely and stubbornly self-sufficient come to depend on each other more and more.If you haven't gathered already, CH is about a school in which the social hierarchy is decided by a Caste Game where students have one afternoon (or some limited period of time) to search for a card which then determines their "rank." Azusa Yuuya starts out as tyrannical king, lording his reign over his fellow students, none of whom are actual friends, though he has a couple of lackeys. It turns out that one of those lackeys, Karino Kouhei, is not as loyal as Azusa might have thought. When the game is shuffled and the castes are up for grab again, Karino double crosses Azusa, takes the king card for himself, and throws Azusa down to the very bottom - the target, free game for the entire class to bully. The betrayal, the power differential, Azusa's stubborn insistence that he will claw his way back to the top, not to mention the initial act of brutal violence Karino inflicts on Azusa, define their relationship for the series. The story is first told from Karino x Azusa's point of view, and then it switches to Atsumu x Kuze. I don't love that pairing, but I am coming to like Atsumu more as the series progresses. Kuze is a yandere, and, quite honestly, one of the scariest characters I've come across in any manga. At least Karino is up front about being a sociopath, although I don't really like him either.I don't think you should read it for any kind of deep message or commentary on society, although there may be some woven in there. Just go in expecting some degenerate but guilty pleasure BL, and you'll like it a lot more.

Book printed upside down……
The media could not be loaded. My book came today (it was a day late) but as I opened it I saw the cover was put on/made the wrong way so the whole book is upside down, but other than that I requested a replacement and I think all is good.
