Is it suitable for a 3-4 year old?

I would say NO. My two grandsons never got into it and older than 3-4. I think it is something they would like but I would say NO for that age

I am putting together Queen Anne's Revenge. I get confused on parts which side goes up on the piece. Company needs to make it clear. Any advice?

I’m not aware of anywhere you can purchase just the instructions. There is a YouTube video that gives you a step by step guide to Assembly.

Can you change the batteries after full assemble?

On the Queen Anne’s Revenge it’s pretty easy. You just fold down the back piece right behind the battery box and you can slide the box out to replace the batteries then put the flap back up when you’re done.
